Hey Dev team, just coming in with a little Dracthyr Transmog feedback. I know you’re probably sick and tired of hearing of this. But I thought I’d throw in my ideas.
I’ve been playing this game a long time, since Wrath Era, and when they introduced Transmog, it became one of my favorite systems in this game, being able to make custom outfits, weather they are from one set, or from multiple and make them look good, is one of my favorite things about this game.
When they announced Dracthyr, I knew that it was going to be my new main, cause Dragons are amazing. I understood why it would be hard to have to model every set in the game on a Dracthyr and how long that would take, however making Shoulders and belts the only things that show up… makes it really hard to make different Transmog for the race. Sure having 10 different armor colors is nice, but when trying to match them up with different shoulders have been released all expansion, sometimes even the very own Evoker sets not matching up with the colors, is kind of a downer. I really think that because Evokers should probably ever only be Dracthyr, the least that could be done is to make it so the tier sets were modeled for the Dracthyr form. Even if it’s just as simple as when you unlock the set, you unlock a ‘full transformation’ for wearing that armor, or even further, having it added to the armor customization in the barbershop.
Now I know that would be a lot of work, but even in the meantime. One of the biggest issues in my eyes, is the fact that the transmog between Visage and Dracthyr form are shared, it’s very hard to make proper mogs. Yes some people can do it with some sets, but it’s very hard to do at the end of the day. If we had an option to Mog their forms separately, like a check box or something. It would make a lot of people’s lives a lot happier. Gear can already remember it’s Transmog between specs, how hard would it be to add one in for remembering what it is between Transformations? [I’m not a coder, so I have no idea]
