Whenever I try to use the spell Soar whilst switched to Steady flight, my character flies up and then immediately drops to the ground, and I can’t fly; it happens every time

Steady flight is supposed to disable the dragon riding type flights. Can you fly normally without soar? (Space bar to take off)?
I’ve been having the same issue, and many other people have too, but I’ve seen almost no one complaining about it in the forums. The only way to consistently have it work is my taking off while you’re in a body of water (???). I hope the devs fix it soon.

Steady Flight says all mounts that don’t support Skyriding will be grounded when its active.
Having Soar work would give Dracthyr quite an advantage.
I don’t think Soar is supposed to work with Steady Flight on.
If you hit jump and hold before the soar bar end completes, with steady flight on, it works ok. It’s def a “Skyriding default” bug, the steady flight cast isn’t recognized as steady flight and waits for the Skyriding commands unless u hold jump right as the bar ends to take off.

Dont know if this helps you, but any time ive had a similar issue, it was because i had my camera angle facing down. If i make sure its level before hand i can take off with no problem

Having soar would give Dracthyr quite an advantage.
I’m sorry… but an advantage to do what? getting to nodes faster? oh wait, maybe battle pets? there’s no real advantage to steady flight soar than other mounts.
