Now that Dragonflight is coming to an end, the race no longer shines as brightly as before, and this radiance will diminish even more as other things come in (well, that’s normal, to a certain extent). However, for Dracthyr, as a race, this will be even worse due to some limitations the race has, such as the lack of transmogs. Even though currently having only one class, we can’t customize our dragon form the way we should, and this is due to the lack of transmogs. Everything becomes even more challenging because shoulders, tabards, and belts appear in the Dracthyr form, making it extremely difficult to put together a beautiful and cohesive transmog without making the Dracthyr form look terrible.
It has been said many times here, but I want to emphasize the points.
• Separate the transmogs for the Dracthyr form and the visage form, allow us to customize each one separately in the transmogrifier.
• Add an option to the barbershop for the Evoker tier set; whenever we complete a collection of the Evoker tier set, an option for the complete armor set is added to the barbershop (unlocking more transmog options for Dracthyr is a better option).

I agree completely. There should have been unlockable transmogs for Dracthyr. Really disappointing. Also, Visage form should have many more choices of race. Such bad design to just limit to Blood Elf male and Human female. It just feels wrong. Why would I not want to play a dragon class? Range is awkward, empowered spells feel awkward, and the lack of transmog options is appalling.
I feel like they have received the least amount of love as a new class than any other class in their intro expansion. Male vs Female Dracthyr forms are really way too similar as well. Imo the male form needs to be much beefier. The female form looks good, just the male form looks very weak for something created by Deathwing. All of his other creations look so damn metal, and beefy. Then we have this little dainty Dracthyr.
I really wanted to play this class coming into 10.2, then they nerfed Preservation… after making it virtually unneeded they nerfed its viability. I do not understand the reason behind the way they nerfed Temporal Anomaly. This class should have been overpowered the entire expansion in every spec.

As a race with so much customization, it feels so limited. Most due to the fact that transmog doesn’t show in dragon form but also that limited amount of colors you can use for skin tones and secondary color mix/matching. With patches having hair colors as “patch features” its pretty pathetic.
They should just find a way to implement transmog in dragon form, they did it for worgen and hell even unplayable races like naga has it. There is no excuse, it would solve so many problems.

It is incomplete. It’s incredibly half baked to be blunt.
Augmentation really did feel like a cop-out thing they threw together to appease the lack of depth the class has (aside from Pres really).
I’m actually pretty amazed/upset they didn’t give out a void spec instead of Augmentation, especially as Aug was basically just hamfisted to be the ‘bard of WoW’ and instead just became a super divisive joke.
They could have went a million different ways with the class than they did, but here we are.

It’s even more disappointing that the tier sets, armours that are designed for a single class, a single race, don’t even match the barber shop armours we wear. Even if the colour schemes fit, they managed to be just the right number of shades off to look out of place. Were the artists unaware that dracthyr are limited in their dracthyr armour pieces? Or did they not have the files to be able to accurately colour pick from to make sure that it matched perfectly?

Each form should have its own transmog
And Blizzard needs to bite the bullet and take the time to fit mail armor to the dragon form. I can understand if helms and capes aren’t allowed, but everything else should be

blizzard needs to bite the bullet and readd 2h sheathing on the back. I miss this

It lasted such a short time, but it was so good. it should be something optional.

I couldn’t care less about the clipping. Give me this!

Don’t care cuz it’s an elf and I’m never gonna be an elf, there’s a million of them already. But in theory there’s nothing wrong with this choice and if they ever add other races for visage then yeah, it’d be nice. Though it’d be fair to then also do the same for worgen.
Have said this before and would prefer both tbqh. Because the barbershop armor isn’t tmog and behaves like the dragonriding options except we’ve gotten 0 new ones while Blizzard has been adding plenty of new dragons and armors for them.
Hell even some of the evoker tier looks uncomfortable or has weird clipping in the true form.
Or option on whether to sheathe on back or on side, a fair amount of 2h weapons are small enough to have a side sheathing be viable while some could be carried on the back.
Have GLYPHS would make this way better. Imagine changing the color of your spells, you can be a full blue devastation evoker or full red, that would be so good!

Changing spell color causes a lack of clarity when it comes to spell school lockout in pvp
The race never shined brightly. Not like Demon Hunters when Legion came out. I am so disappointed with how lackluster the class is Especially devastation. nothing is devastating about Devoker. The scalemander hero talent tree isnt going to make Devoker any more interesting. What black spells do Devoker even have that do damage lmao! Such a short-sighted theme park.

What does this even mean? Aesthetically? Performance wise?
aesthetically yes ill agree with him on that. performance wise its not bad so much as it feels like somethings missing

Hmmm I can think of many dragons with alternative visage forms but I can’t think of any worgens that aren’t human, I don’t think you need both to have one
I see how that wasn’t written very clearly, I meant it’d be nice to have separate tmogs for the two worgen forms. Whether or not other races can become worgen is so far unclear save for night elves obv.
As for dragons with alternate forms yeah there’s plenty, though it doesn’t mean it should be mandatory and from an out of lore PoV it I’m sure detracted design time for the dracthyr armors and stuff. There’s even some concept armors not in game for dracthyr like a breastplate with a gem on the center.
