Regarding playability and possible playstyle adjustments, are there any Negatives to playing a Dracthyr Rogue? I mean, other than whatever racials you might be giving up? I mainly PvP.

The glide racial makes you very slow if you are an Outlaw rogue. Pretty lame. It should atleast match your movement speed

But I guess my main reason for ever using it would be to come down from somewhere high, like in AB, after capping LM, to glide down and assault the BS…
I’m the OP. I race-changed my 70 Rogue last night, and gonna get started leveling to 80 later today… This is my original Rogue I made many expansions ago. He was Human, then Forsaken, then Orc, but I’ve never been that taken with any of those races for this guy, so maybe Dragon is the way to go. I’m pretty happy with how he presents, Dragon-wise, and the Visage form is okay…
I understand that for min/max, yeah, Orc’s racial is better, but I like the RP factor of being a Dragon, so I race-changed from Orc to Drac.
I haven’t played Alli in many years, and have never liked the look of Nelf so that’ll never happen, lmao.
Can you stay stealthed while gliding?

I don’t see the point of the post then. Any race can be viable for pvp. The glide is nice I’d imagine for certain maps. But overall your own skill will be the main factor of winning or losing.

Great question! Messing around in Dornogal last night after the race-change, I’m pretty sure that Glide was not breaking Stealth, but then again, I wasn’t particularly thinking about it, and I’d had a hit or two of dreamweed, so there we go…
I’ll take a more purposeful look into that after work today…

A few days ago I was reading other forum posts about the new classes for Dracthyr and remember seeing one from a Warrior saying that something about the Glide had a negative effect on another ability… (don’t remember what, exactly) so I just figured that if anyone knew of some Negative regarding a Dracthyr Rogue, they’d post it here.

The Dracthyr “move while stealthed” animation is actually pretty good looking, and their other animations for Rogue ain’t half-bad.
Dracthyr form can look good if done well.
The bonus out-of-combat health regen in Visage form can actually make solo content much quicker.
Yes, Dracthyr remain in Stealth while gliding. It’s… awesome.
Having an AoE knockback on a stealth character is also particularly menacing in certain circumstances in PvP.

It’s a nice to have in PVE for sure, but this could be absolutely broken in PVP.

I would make myself a dragon but i love body type 2 panda for rogues, idk always find myself going back to it
