Soar CD needs to be removed, it’s been begged for since they added one. I agree about it being ridiculous looking. The way it is, I don’t see myself using soar at all.

I don’t think it needs to be removed, but I do think the CD needs to be shorten to 2mins from the 4mins.

That doesn’t make it feel any less awful. I have been playing with it at 1 minute for weeks now, and it still feels terrible to constantly have to be landing and waiting for it to recharge while watching everyone else just fly over you easily.
Soar as it stands, even with a reduced cooldown, is basically an ability that gives you a taste of how fun it is to fly with your own wings before it laughs at you and tells you to get on a flying mount like everyone else.

It should be a mount replacement with the cast time penalty for not being a druid and different flight mechanics IMO which is why I advocate for no cast time. Otherwise there’s literally no reason to use it other than RP.
It looks even stranger riding a ground mount…it so weird…

Can confirm. My go-to for ground mount has always been my Amani War Bear. And my Dracthyr looks very strange on it. It just doesn’t sit on the mount properly, which only makes the whole “dragon on a bear” issue even worse. Fortunately, the KSM mounts this expac are all standing mounts; so they don’t look nearly as foolish on those.

Yeh, shifting into Visage on a mount wouldn’t really negate the problem, just make it easier to ignore. You would still feel bad because you were a winged creature riding a flying mount, but would now get to feel extra bad because you might be forced into a form you disliked while doing it too.

Wish they could let me decide when my wings are tired. Specially since I end up using the Sandstone Drake mount just so I can fly with my own wings anyway. Strange how my wings don’t get tired then. 0_o
