I was thinking,
Since we are about to get regular flying in 10.2, this would be a great time to implement it for the evoker class! Giving them a flight like running wild/druid flight form would be really neat so we can relax and fly from place to place since they have wings of their own. Please make this happen <3

they aren’t, the build in the PTR is the release candidate and at this point we will see just some tuning changes…
they could have done so much with this class/race.
Please god make soar a normal mount that can be used as both a regular flying mount and a dragonriding mount where applicable.
Their reason for not doing it is dumb and they should feel bad.

Blizzard continues to fail at earning an easy W with the playerbase and incentivize people to play their new class.
I wish they would see how much of a win it would be. A good time to implement too with regular flying/ pathfinder coming to 10.2. In the vaults that you can do in the reach, they have a normal flying animation in the bubble stream that sends you to the top. When you exit the stream you have a few seconds of flying. The animations and operation is already there for them - it would just be awesome if they implemented it! Soar is kind of a bummer and I rarely ever use it. You cant go that far with it with such limits on it.
Soar it’s useless, I’ve used it 4 or 5 times at the beginning of the expansion before unlocking all the dragonriding talents.
They should let these stupid drachtyrs fly and do something about the transmog nonsense.
And while they’re at it, let us Visage form any race, and at least let us mog our own tier in Dragon form.
I agree. I would have honestly preferred the female belf visage for my own, like a lot of the dragon npcs. Also, cool looking Drac dude! Love the armor pieces you have on them and matching them to your character’s horns etc.
They won’t even give us dragon riding using the wings on our backs, despite the fact that dracthyr npc’s can, highly doubt they’d give us regular flying. P.S. They need to give us both.
It would be awesome if they did! I’m sure they would see a boost in who actually plays the race/class if they did that too.
The only reason i soar is because it still does look cool, but only if where i’m going is lower than where i started. I suppose the other reason is that it’s the fastest way to get to some keys when you don’t have the teleport.
Same, thats the only reason I still use it too. It looks cool, but not really effective. I would much rather have a flight form like a druid’s.
It’s pretty mind boggling how much they’re ignoring what people want from the new class that was supposed to be one of the highlights of the expansion. Since day 1 people have been begging to make Soar useable and it would be so easy to do so. There’s no unfair advantage that they try to excuse it now if dragonflying is gonna be available everywhere. And tbh, it was not a good excuse in the first place
It was announced that Soar will be regular dynamic flight in 10.2.5 or whatever. So they listened… after the entire expac went by.
