Dracthyr Paladins

Now that Dracthyr are getting more classes there is no reason why they can’t be Paladins…

The Tyr’s guard operates in the dragon isles. That’s should be enough.

As for art assets for the mount, we’ve gotten new chargers each time a new paladin race has been introduced, no reason why dracthyr can’t.

Plus we all know dracs will be druids and if we can get those assets we can get a charger

Are they? I missed that announcement.

Fixed it, meant to say more classes. That was announced a few months ago

Yes, while blizavision is at it also make goblin paladin and panda paladin, lets embrace all things absurd.

It’s possible. :8ball::robot:

Why not?

They could be Dragon Knights

They literally told us that Pallys would be one of the last to be done for more classes due to assets.

Not sure this was confirmed. Just something they might do later.

Citation needed. Because iirc, they only mentioned Warrior, Rogue and Mage, I think. And again: one of the last to be added to more races was also said to be druids due to assets.

Ah, so making stuff up to further a poor narrative. Gotcha. Have fun with that.

They confirmed dracs are getting more classes shortly after tww release.

No reason why they can create assets same way they did when zanda trolls, lfd, earthen, etc all released with paladins.

Why would dracthyr Paladins be absurd when you have the Tyr’s guard in the dragon isles

In fact the TG makes all paladins possible

let dracthyr stay as evoker base class retaining its dragon breath attacks

then add a fourth specialization “deathwing’s favor” with some paladin, and other 12 classes active abilities such as stealth → ambush, summon imps, mirror image, shadow form, death grip, etc

Again, blizz confirmed they’ll be getting more classes

Indeed. Right now if I remember correctly, shortly after TWW launches, Dracthyr’s can be, of course, Evokers, but also Mages and Warriors. Honestly, I could see them being more then just those two. Hunters and, yes, I think even Paladins could fit the Dracthyr race pretty well, at least Hunters.

Goblin paladins could have a strong lore basis.

Where did you find the light, goblin?

It fell off the back of a truck!

Tyr’s guard is one size fits all

Still never touching Dracthyr until their models get a MASSIVE overhaul. They just look so goofy and out of place, and their dragon form is clearly just scaley-bait that was self-inserted by the model artist.

I don’t know about Dracthyr specifically, but very few races can be Paladins. The monks of Pandaria were hidden for years and years and all of Azeroth seemingly picked it up in just 2 years. Chen must be an excellent teacher!

Guess no one could learn to be a Pally in that time? Despite Pallies existing on main land since before the events of W3.

Do we? Sure it’s a fun idea but you state it like it’s obvious and inevitable rather than just a long shot.

Um because it is obvious.

Dracthyr have green dragon blood…

There’s no reason that every race can’t be every class. You aren’t born being a paladin/druid/warrior, etc. You study how to do it. Alignment with the light/fel/whatever isn’t a racial, it’s a personal choice. And for Evoker, just make Dracthyr the visage.
