I could see them maybe being Warriors, rogues, hunters, but any of the magic/cosmic power classes I think would be a weird fit.
The second case is that of the gnome hunters, tell me how it is possible that in the LEGION expansion they were gnome hunters if before they were not, how did Blizzard achieve it?
they have pretty much said definitely maybe. Possibly somewhere down the line. What more do you want?
For the sake of the new race and class, I hope they keep the Dracthyr limited to only Evokers.
I don’t want to BE a dragon in the ultimate fantasy.
I want to KILL a dragon.
Oh well we already have that like a dozen times over and I’m sure this has plenty of dragons for you to kill. Glad you’re getting what you want
those damn horde dragons waving fist
Would you rather spit at someone or conjure a giant frost bolt and kill them with magic?
it literally makes no sense for them to be other classes, like at all. you people need to drop this because its just yall wanting a nonsense game adhering to no story. idk deep lore but if you can reference a reason they should be other classes and what the classes should be lead with that but “i want this so do it” is just getting repetitive and sad
Your telling me they can’t pick up a weapon and fight as warrior when everyone can literally do that even gnomes when that shouldn’t be physically possible
Warriors do not simply take up weapons and fight melee …
They are still trained by experienced Warriors before them.
Dracthyr never had a chance to meet other “class trainer” yet.
why when they literally have weapons attached to them would they go out of their way to craft one and pick it up ??
Legit the basic class definition of a warrior is being a no magic combat im pretty sure them being dragons would have them more then physically trained to fight melee.
Not if they were created for Magical combat …
Let’s not ruin my main class please. It’s bad enough Blood Elves can be Warriors…
Again Nightborne and blood elves are magic affinity they can be warriors. Again gnomes are not physically large enough to be realistically warriors but they can. We threw out realism and them being trained for magically combat doesn’t mean they can’t have a sword and fight like a warrior.
but WHY would they?
Because increase of knowledge and wanting to be more versatile like what is? Same as why other races want to be anything you both are grasping at straws here.
And again …
Dracthyr are secluded on the dragon Isles…
They don’t have a culture of warriors or other physical combat …
Where would they learn the required skills?
Centaur? The other races have warriors?
