I have a lot of alts just about every class except paladin and priest. And my favorites are demon Hunter, death knight, Hunter in that order. When I got into df alpha like everyone else I did dracthyr than the other classes. I don’t feel that evoker have same feel like it did when death knight or demon hunters did when it first came out. Or maybe I’m not playing it right it is new after all. But at the moment I’m more excited about playing my favorites in df than the evoker. Any other alpha players feel like that?
Evoker doesn’t really interest me personally. I’m glad the other classes are getting development as well.
It seems any expansion where Blizzard adds a new class, they make sure existing classes get sweeping changes too.
The Healer spec has a very unique gimmick in the form of Echo, but Evokers don’t interest me as a Tank player.
I will always be most excited about playing my hunters 
Also apparently the class is hard? So no thanks. I don’t want hard classes, I want easy classes and hard encounters.
I heard something about 25 yard range healer, which to me makes absolutely no sense for a class to be neither melee nor fully ranged….
Then I saw how skinny and weird-looking they are. I don’t know, to each their own, but zero interest… from what I see on YouTube doesn’t look like there’s a lot of hype in general for them.

The new race and class don’t appeal to me. I would have rather had new customization for current races and perhaps bring some of the original class’ more archaic designs into the 21st century.
Class seems too wonky to me. But also yeah, I am not interested in a character that looks like it was bought as a commission from a DeviantArt furry artist. Not saying there is anything wrong with furries or DeviantArt, used to be a goer myself. However, I am just not into it anymore. But hey, it’s great for the people that are into that! I’ll stick with my hairy tiny lumberjack looking toon.
Also to my understanding, isn’t Evoker only healer?

I’m wanting to play one, but I’m also hearing the class doesn’t really have any flow while you dps.
If I cannot get into a good groove playing a class, it just don’t work for me. I guess we’ll see though.
IMO Dracthyr are DOA being limited to one class with only two specs. If they could be anything else other than Evoker I would play that.
Im excited to try it for the dragon aspect of it.
one of my buds said she will do it but she also said it needed a tank spec.
i felt like a black dragonflight inspired earthy tank would be radical.

Don’t they use a model like any other race? Why wouldn’t they be able to play another class? I mean, mechanically. Just pretend they can’t do dragon tricks?
Blizz likely hasn’t made the animations for other classes’ abilities for their main form.

That also sounds incredibly… um, not the best work ethic for a major expac feature?
Actually I won’t be terribly shocked if they’re holding it back, and “announce” opening up the race to new classes during the expansion to earn good guy points.
I’ll probably pass. It just doesn’t really interest me. I’ve never really cared for ranged classes though so I’m biased.
If they never intended for them to be other classes from the start, which was my understanding, why bother creating the animations for them?
They already said it might happen in the future but both if and when aren’t actually settled yet.
