There is no meta race. A bad player will make a great class/race awful.
Very few classes will like the drac ability’s’ and movement buffs. Hunter will be one of them. Drac race has little to no affect on the playstyle for hunter. Purely cosmetic.

I thought maybe the extra knock-backs could be OP with the hunter kit
If you like being a dragon-thing, it’s great. Transmog is nil. So if you’re a fan of transmogs, don’t roll or switch to one.
Being able to disengage off a cliff in a BG and glide away to safety is pretty neat.
You already have access to a KB with a shorter Cooldown. No real reason to have a second on a 3 minute CD…

Extra chances to knock players back into slows/off cliffs/onto traps though?
Niche I know, but might be strong vs melee
then go drac. i hardly think 1 extra cc among your entire arsenal is going to make a huge difference.
Tar trap, explosive trap, binding shot, stun, silence ETC. all on significantly shorter CDS. so paying money for 1 extra CC on a 3 min CD just seems bad in my opinion.

Don’t exist because people whined and got Dracthyr neutered. It’s one racial now with a 3 min cooldown.
I’m not leaning any one way, just curious about it and trying to think about scenarios where it might have a niche.

I race changed, but don’t PVP much with this toon as he already has several pvp achievements, while some of my alts don’t have many pvp achievements.
I do like this race with it’s racials, i even go drakthyr form more than i expected to, since i planned to stay in visage originally.

Considering its on a 3 minute cooldown, it’s not going to make a massive amount of difference, especially considering it’s not a huge knockback anyway.
You would only be getting some utility out of it. Most of what you’d get use out of is 1.5% mastery and being slightly faster.

I enjoy being a Surv hunter on this character since I can be a sword wielding dragon in combat with a pet. I don’t pvp though so I couldn’t tell you if I like it. I don’t think it would be any different than pvping on any other hunter.

If a Demon Hunter hunts Demons… a Dracthyr Hunter would be a Scaleripper or Djaradin no?
