in proportion with the rest of their body their dragon form heads are very small
once you see the tiny pea heads you will not be able to unsee them

Agreed OP. Broaden the base neck a little and scale the heads slightly.

they seem a little small indeed and a slight adjustment would be very welcome.
with the equipment you can put on it gets better.

Definitely my biggest gripe with it, it just needs a tiny tweak.
Here’s an edit I just made with 2 possible sizes from an image on wowhead’s big customization post. Original on the right.
I like the middle the most, and the left is what I think is the largest before it starts going into bobblehead territory.

That’s my issue with it too, I don’t think their heads would look so small if they weren’t on telephone pole necks.

yeah i like the dracthyr and am excited to check them out but there was something slightly off about them that i couldnt put my finger on untill i saw the buff body option and realized how small the head looked. its not enough to make me not like them but i do think their head/neck to body ratio needs to be slightly tweaked.

Yeh it’s the only thing I have an issue with now too, they fixed the more bulky body option but the heads are just no way near the proportion they should be. The heads are insanely small for the rest of their body.

I know furie costumes usually have big heads, but here the opposite is happening ; the small heads make the whole body look like a costume.
I’d like to see some head options that had a jaw more like deathwing.
This fan edit that came out just after the announcement has a bit more of a chin. I like the whole look on the right.

The heads are so small, they would look so much nicer if they increased the size some. Right now I like them, but the head size is really throwing me for a loop.

honestly almost everything about them seems too small for my liking, I was hoping they’d give an option for some bulkier dragon forms since they’re not allowing gear you equip to show up on the dragon model I really don’t see a reason why not, especially when I see some of the NPC Dracthyr are as bulky as I’d like them to be.
I want both as options! Because that “new” head and body type is so cool.

I doubt anything will change. WoW has always had terrible proportions.
As a player who wants to stay in dracthyr’s draconic form most of the time, it’s really annoying that I get switched back to visage form every time I mount, just to stay in a blood elf form when I dismount. Why would I want to spend most of my time looking at a race that already exists?
