When are we getting this? I might be one of the small few that like Dracthyrs and would love to be able to play my favorite class as one.

is what people would say but dk with a glide and hover would be amazing. i think aesthetically it could be really cool since sindragosa is one of the cooler (pun intended) undead/dk-adjacent characters

Its very much possible but given our history with slaughtering dragons I bet the moment they see us raising dracthyr to be death knights we will be seeing a civil war from the dragonflights
If im correct the DK class order hall mount questline had us SEVERELY cripple the red dragonflight by casually strolling in and destroying a whole nest just to get our hands on a mount that used to be a red dragon

Alex accused the Mechagnome DK for slaughtering her kin. He was like… “Why would I do that?”
And then he came back in DF, waltzing in damn knowing the dragons are upset at the Deathlord for slaughtering them and ask for their help.
Oh dear, Drakthyr DK would be… pretty interesting

Its not. There is no Lich King to raise them. Blame Blizzard for killing off the character that has had a hand in creating each and every Death Knight of the scourge.

Not the first time we went on a slaughter fest vs the dragons either. They’ve got every reason to take steps to make sure their dracthyr children can’t be raised by us :3

You’re not the only one. Only reason I don’t have more dracthyr is the lack of transmog, and their fly being weirdly gimped.
At first we didn’t have a lore reason, other then they’ve been bottled up till DF. Enough have died by the end of WW that we could have made some. Assuming we still have the ability to make more DK’s without a Lich King that is. Only remaining lore reason would be the flights doing something to make sure we can’t raise them as us. Just have to see if Bliz expands to that option here soon.
I’d love if we could see more expansion of race/class combos in general. We’re Big Dang Heroes after all.

The Lich King is the one that gave us the ability to create the 4 horsemen, and only the 4 horsemen.
As well at there not being a Lich King to do it, or a Lich King to give us the power to do it, or someone else to do it.
Dragon bois just need to be deleted. The furry and scaley furries alike.

We just need to make a quick trip to visit the Primus and voila! We can get an artifact that can raise new DKs.

Something tells me we will have something introduced in Midnight that will allow for more Death Knights… if they don’t then I would then be worried.
dont see why at least the deathlord or the 4 horseman cant just go and raise a bunch on new DKs. there is a bunch of dead sundered flame dracthyr just out there sarkareth included.

We were given the power to raise the 4 horsemen from the LK during Legion because he was still stuck on the Frozen Throne.
Blizzards crappy writing team is to blame. Look at the recent cinematic, its bad on all fronts. From the writing which is cringy, and the absolute horrible animation that was better in Wrath of the Lich King. The Wrathgate in game cinematic was better than whatever that was.
The entire writing team needs to go and bring back the… you know… War in Warcraft.
