they havnt added a new race option for demon hunter in over 8 years, i wouldn’t expect them to start doing it now
I doubt we’ll ever see Dracthyr DH. That would require them to add real double-jump which is probably too much work for them.

Adding races to DH requires animator and artist work. We dident even get anything new for our hero talents. Our demon form tatoos still do not match our normal ones. The only art assets dh has gotten since legion are covanant abilities.

On top of being wildly stupid, not making any sense and no one wanting, it would require effort. We can’t even seem to get the bare minimum like the above posters stated. Hell, throw glaive glyph only changes first weapon thrown. DH has a storied history of being simultaneously the coolest class and the most half-assed on the development side.
Hopefully we’ll get a dev that actually cares again soon. I think instead of wack gecko DH, we should get a reskin of your spell “soar”. Transform into meta and fly.
Not holding my breath for either though.
