Can we please get some extra customization for our Dracthyr in future patches from time to time?.. I’m mostly happy with the race but there are a few changes I’d like.
Considering we don’t get to see most of our armor as a Dracthyr I’d love it if we were given ways to unlock more Dracthyr barber armor sets and colors for the existing armor. Most of the color options are just outright bad. More options like the red dragonflight look would be awesome rather than painting it all one color and calling it a day. Personally, I’d love some more shoulders at the very least that match the existing armor.
Another thing I’d love is a few more color options for our scales. I remember when I got into beta and made my first Dracthyr and was disappointed the “Obsidian Dragonflight” style colors were a little off. Then we meet Emberthal and she has them perfectly! I think it’s the same with some of the other color options for the other dragonflights.
Scar options are another thing I’d love in general in WoW. There are so few in the game as is and all races should have a few IMO.
The ability to disable transmog from overwriting our barbershop armor is something I’m sure everyone would love. It’s frustrating that we need to go without shoulders, belts, and a tabard in our visage form if we don’t want to look silly as a Dracthyr. I’d love it if the tabard could at least cover our barber armor properly rather than replacing it.
Lastly, I’d love some wing patterns much like Emberthal. After checking her out in the barbershop the other day I can’t help but notice how plain our wing membrane is.
Dracthyr are the most customizable race but they also feel lacking in some basic ways that lower the enjoyment for me.

I concur. I think barbershop unlocks (similar to the cosmetic unlocks for the drakes in Dragonflight) would be a good compromise for keeping the “Dragon Form” of Dracthyr looking fresh with meaningful cosmetic unlocks as you progress content in The War Within and beyond. Personally, I am unsatisfied with simply getting to fight in visage form. The appeal of playing a Dracthyr is getting to play a dragonkin if I wanted an elf with horns I would simply play Demon Hunter!
Blizzard Devs, please, plan out some barbershop unlocks for the Dracthyr in TWW and future expansions if full transmog is simply not possible for the “Dragon Form” model. I would imagine evoker tier sets and especially unique armor sets should take precedent. This would give your Dracthyr players wonderful goals to work towards as they continue to play through future expansions.

I agree with all of this. I also think evoker tier sets should be designed to look good and be seen on the dracthyr form. Weird that their set looks bad/cant be seen on their true form.
Visage is nice and all but I’m not a fan of the belf male rigging so i hardly ever use my visage. Would be nice to either expand my visage options and/or open up dracthyr appearance options

i cant comprehend how the evoker tier set which is only going to be worn by dracthyr is not something that shows up in the barber shop so you can have that armor on since dracthyr cant transmog. it feels so lazy that the armor for this 1 class on this 1 race cant even be seen. i find it funny that all the “defining features” of this class are the ones the player base hates

On top of things already mentioned, I would love some non human skin colours for our Visage forms. Some things like the darker skin tones from the Night Elves or Nightborne.
Prolly be a while before they get back to us, though. Dracthyr already have a staggering amount of customisation options, and there are a lot of races that need help a lot more than us.

The lizard form is aesthetically displeasing. This is clearly subjective feedback, but few disagree with this statement. Some of its problem is the tiny head size. If we had an option for head size at the barbershop, it would help a lot. If it was two or three times the size, it still wouldn’t be too big

I’d love to see customizations not unlike those we got for the highland drake. It has a plethora of awesome skins and features, many of which would look equally awesome on a Dracthyr.

I prefer the Dracthyr form to the Visage form. I actually quite like the way it looks, but fair enough, more options are always better than fewer.
I think three times the size of the current head would be much too big, but if it were a choice and not a model rework then I support the idea so people can choose.

Need some twilight dragon customization options for the Dracthyr. Does it make sense in lore? Probably not, but I’d argue there’s at least some precedent considering the snekdragons got those customization options. What’s more, sometimes lore needs to take a backseat to sheer style.

this is the same problem that Druids will always have, so… idk if they will do something about it.
