Dracthyr can be other classes confirmed

So… Dracthyrs can fight in visage form as a warrior/rogue

But not evokers

That’s pretty funny because I have always asked for worgens to be able to stay in human form for combat if they chose to and was told to kick rocks by the forum.

Hey i’ll take it. Still want more visage time in combat for evoker but this is cool.

I mean…you might have something if gilnean humans had unique customization compared to stormwind humans…but they’re exactly the same, and you can just play a human.

But… They exist. They’re stormwind humans

Not with the British accent though.

I like that idea. If Worgen are meant to be monstrous then it really loses the impact when you see the “monster” all the time and it’s not really a curse at all. Would’ve been better to have it be a racial ability similar to bloodlust.

Kinda makes sense though. The Evoker powers are dragons natural abilities. Hard to use those if you’re not in dragon form. But a Warlock or Rogue is different, they’re using Warrior/Rogue skills not dragon abilities. As a Drac Warrior/Rogue you won’t be able to use any Evoker abilities.

I’d be more interested in Evokers playable by other Races.
But I understand the restriction.

But I guess that means we’ll see classes like Mages with Mail armor pieces from the Dracytyr barber shop.

Well that’s interesting I suppose. Not something I care a whole lot about at the moment but at least people can be a rogue with wings.

Evoker you need to be a dragon to use dragon power.

Warrior and rogue not really so.much, because those are physical abilities. Maybe monk can be tossed into the category as well.

And I’ll still say it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll also say I shouldn’t be allowed to stay in Visage as another class. I think that’s dumb design.

Cool. Will have to start my Dracthyr over if this comes to be.

But you’re only allowed one Dracthyr per realm right, so if I want a rogue I have to delete my evoker…?

He also said that you’ll be able to stay in Visage form in combat while playing the new classes

But not Evoker? lol

Right now since Dracthyr and Evoker are intrinsically linked. I think the restriction will apply only to the Evoker class, not the Dracthyr race similar to Death Knights and Demon Hunters in the past.

EDIT: If Dracthyr can be Warrior and stay in Visage form during combat, I may end up switching to Dracthyr once the Diplomacy racial is removed from Human. Playing as a draconic human that can transform into a dragon-hybrid form for flight would be pretty cool. I might even macro/script something to transform with certain abilities like Avatar and Recklessness; the roleplaying potential would be immense.

They lowered DKs and DHs to normal levels, I’m sure they’ll do the same for Drakthyr.

Wonder how a drac rogue would look.

One Evoker per realm. Not Dracthyr.

I was going to say the same thing but that is their starter area.

So I bet they’re going to make them start at level 10 and remove the restriction, like they did for DHs.
