At this present time, Drac’thyr “Evoker” cannot access the quest “From Within” due to a Soul-Gem Permanence bug from its previous quest “The Scythe Of Souls” quest, in which the interactable [Soul Gem] remains up and permanent even after you turn in the quest. You are not given any other quests to continue the Aszuna quest-chain and subsequently miss out on a fair amount of gold, a cooking recipe, and anything else that follows.
It would be nice if these bugs could be addressed, as there are many related to this class and a severe, polished bug-fix is in order.

I had posted two reports about this as well, and even confirmed it by whisper with another Evoker in the area. I didn’t grasp that the Sythe of Souls gem was the issue, but I DID notice today it was still up and can still be interacted with. And yeah, it’s not just the zone achievements and gold, but transmog, 2 or 3 toys, no less than 3 cooking recipes, and a pet. I understand Evokers aren’t getting a class hall (though I believe they should have a way to access those achievements even if in a cursory way) but the sheer amount of legacy content I fear is bugged with them is not fair to new players making it their main.

I agree with your statement; it makes for a poor experience for players coming back to main an Evoker and revisit these older expansions, so I’m hoping the team puts in a large bug-fix and addresses these issues.
Personally I hope they can fix the issues in Pandaria as well; not being able to do the Timeless Isle on my Evoker isn’t a game-breaker by any means, but it’s a sour taste in my mouth to kill Yaungol and earn no favor.

I am also unable to access the quest “From Within” on my Dracthyr, and seeing a similar problem with “Brotherly Love” in Val’sharah. I am trying to do these questlines to get some of the new transmog that was added for Evokers only.
The questlines seem to stop dead in their tracks whenever the quests split between a DH version of the quest, and a non-DH version of the quest. It seems “Evoker” was not added to the classes able to accept the non-DH version.
I am not sure how to see this information in-game, but I tried to confirm by looking at the class requirements in the web API:

This was my fear as well. That there are tons of bugs people just haven’t had time to discover yet. If I ran into an issue within TEN MINUTES of starting Legion content, it stands to reason that there are also numerous issues in Highmountain, Val’Sharah, Stormheim, and Suramar as well.

I just reread your comment, and now that you mention it, it starts to make perfect sense. I never took a DH through Legion content, but you seem to be suggesting that certain quests had unique dialogue, rewards, or outcomes for DH and Evokers haven’t been added to the class list for for the default version. Good find. I just hope someone is actually reading this and cares enough to fix it.

I wouldn’t expect them to focus too hard on ‘old content’ with Dragonflight right around the corner and certain company-related changes are about to occur or are underway. That being said, they can’t ignore it either; I’m sure they’ll work to fix the bugs surrounding the class.
Happy to report this seems to have been fixed. I haven’t gone back down to look for sure, but “From Within” is now appearing on the map as an exclamation point that indicates where you left off on the critical path.
I can confirm that occurred when I picked up the quest; it’s how I found it. I have yet to pick it up again and see if they fixed the Neutral-bug.
Update: I have checked and it is still bugged with the aforementioned.

Yeah, I would have thought the fix would have applied to all of them, but it appears this is gonna have to take place on a case by case basis.
Can confirm “Brotherly Love” is broken on Evoker on my drakky as well…

Update: The quest worked on Evoker and proceeds as normal.
