Dracthyr Back Weapon

Staff is now showing on my Dracthyr when in dragon form but I don’t see it showing on anyone else. Can’t tell if this is a bug or a feature but its super annoying and looks so bad.

Same here. Not sure if it’s intentional, but I so hope not. It clips through the right wing and doesn’t look good. Haven’t noticed it on others though.

At least its not just me. That’s a comfort at least.

it looks so bad and I am losing my mind. please fix this blizzard. the only way to hide this is to wear transmog shoulders and I do NOT want to do that either!!!

I found a workaround!!! Transmog ‘Gaping Maw Shoulderguard’ using ‘Transmog each shoulder separately’ to the right shoulder specifically. It’s hidden! It still cancels the terrible, awful weapon showing up on your back!!!

Same problem please god fix this or give us a hide weapon option even better.

Same thing is happening to me!

For the love of god give the option to hide it! This is so damn stupid Blizzard.

Yep same thing here, and I can’t even hide it with transmog shoulders like the rest of the people seem to be able too. This looks so awful it HAS to be a bug right?

Didn’t have that one so I used the one from the epoch set. Looks like any shoulder set that just has an appearance for one shoulder will do. Downside is it will hide the drac barber shop shoulders if you use them :frowning: poor drac are not having a good time this expansion with bugs and such

This is terrible. How the hell did Blizzard let this garbage patch go live? This looks so bad.

After some accidental tinkering with it I found that if you want to still see the drac barber shoulders you can choose the hide shoulders option for both left and right shoulder after you select choose shoulder seperately.

I would love to know what kinda code cause shoulders to affect weapons XD

The transmog shoulders trick is working for me right now, but I have to go in and completely redo it if I change into my visage form

My only issue with this, besides the clipping through the wing is more that a staff sits too high on the back and has the same issue some polearms had before dragonflight. Maybe have some kind of toggle? Show weapon or hide weapon, but at the very least, shift the placement of it so it sits better

Today this problem suddenly resurfaced after logging back into the game tonight. A hotfix? My staff is once again showing on my back, through my wings, and it looks horrible and I just can’t stand this at all. This is despite using the ‘transmog each shoulder separately’ trick.

The only workaround I can find right now is to go into visage and back. This only temporarily hides my weapon, though, doing a variety of things makes it appear again.

I am going to lose my mind. Please fix this. And if anyone knows of any current workarounds that are more permanent, please let me know. I don’t understand why the previous thing stopped working.

Edit: Swapping to visage and returning does hide it but only for you and those around you when you swap; anyone who wasn’t nearby will still see the weapon. Again, I ask you Blizzard, please fix it. Or rather, STOP trying to FIX the weapon being hidden. It’s SUPPOSED to be hidden on wings/totems/etc. Having weapons clip through a bunch of stuff is gross. Please just give us the ability to hide sheathed weapons in general.

found a fix make sure your belt isnt hidden and you have ur shoulders set as hidden

Gave this a try, but it doesn’t work. I suspect you tried this along side swapping in and out of visage, which does temporarily hide your 2h weapon. Thank you for trying to find a solution though, and if you did find something that continues to work even after you zone or relog, there may be more steps to it than what you listed so please follow up if you can. Thanks! And, again, Blizzard, please fix this :skull:
