Dracthyr as other classes when?
They mentioned once during an interview that it’d happen eventually I’m hopimg its sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately they confirmed that it won’t be at launch for TWW or “any time soon” during a more recent interview:
Maybe if there’s enough backlash from the playerbase they’ll change their minds for Midnight or The Last Titan.
That’s lame I just want a Dracthyr Warrior

Funny enough, the article I linked earlier they (the devs) actually hinted that might be the answer.
“One thing we wanted to do right out of the gate was make the [Dracthyr’s] race and class be very dependent on each other,” he states. “This is why you end up with a mid-range spellcaster, because when you think of draconic abilities and dragon-like things you think of dragon’s breath or tail whip; that’s not something that makes sense from 40 yards away. We created this race and class with each in mind for each other.”
What about the Drakonid, then? “When it comes to expanding [the Dracthyr] to other things I think that’s a future conversation that we’ll have about what opportunities make sense, and even opportunities for allied races, too,” Dawson tells PCGamesN. “We’re always having conversations about how can we include more things in that, too. I think going to the Dragon Isles offers us more opportunity to consider things there.

It’s canon that the dracthyr have other classes with the evokers being the elite of the race but i’ve assumed it would require a new intro and racials altered. 
I have it on good authority it’s coming Feb 30th or Feb 31st. Just mark it on your calendar folks.

It won’t be before next expansion
Well Augmentation wasn’t announced beforehand, so other Classes might still be in the backlog and planned for a future patch.
I could see it happen for 10.2.5 as soar gets full dragon riding capabilities too.

It says right there that interview was from last november, a week before DF even launched. There’s nothing recent about that or even a single word for TWW in there.

It was during their Deep Dive panel that they clarified that Drac’thyr aren’t getting other classes at least for the launch of TWW and that the Warband screenshot was an internal mock-up.
In dragonflight cinematic, they have literally have all the dracthyr holding polearms…c’mon blizz
