Dracthyr and TWW Pre-orders

Just a quick question: I’m suspecting the answer is ‘no’, but I’ve missed a few expansions and came back for the Pandaria Remix. I’m thinking of preordering TWW, and just wndering if I do, would I be able to make Dracthyr, or would that need TWW to launch for Dragonflight to become part of the base game?

If you don’t have DF, you can’t make an Dracthyr. So you’d have to wait until DF was added to the base game.

Pre-purchase² World of Warcraft: The War Within and unlock a slew of benefits to aid you in your coming adventures! All editions include an Enhanced Level 70 Character Boost and the critically-acclaimed Dragonflight expansion³. In addition, the Epic Edition also guarantees Beta Access and Early Access⁴ (August 22, 3PM PT) to The War Within. All in-game items are available immediately unless otherwise noted.

Once TWW pre-patch hits, DF will be made baseline, and basically free.

It’ll be the default expansion new players are funneled into, no longer BfA. Lvls 10-70, etc.

So, if you can wait, I would lol.

Probably some time in July, seeing as the expansion comes out in August.

If you buy TWW, you effectively buy Dragonflight. I have no idea what two of the three responders are talking about

It’s listed plain as day on the preorder page that it comes with DF.

If you buy the preorder today, you get DF today, you can make a evoker today.

Also of note is during TWW prepatch they will be making evokers start at level 10, right now they start at lvl 60, so it’s a good time to jump in if you want to save some time lvling.

Man, that’s what I get for blanking over the fine print XD Thanks!

Well planning on doing one as a Timerunner, so that’ll take care of that :stuck_out_tongue:
