Has anyone had any luck getting these? There is nothing in game on how to get them, I found a web site that said they can be fished up, but I’ve never gotten one, even after catching more than 200 fish in ice holes. Is this another bug? Is the drop rate that low? Is the information I’ve seen online out of date from the beta or something?

How long did it take? I just completely cleared that frozen lake in the south east of the Azure Span and got nothing except a couple of strong seavines which I guess is for a different item
I didn’t even know it was a thing until I got it.
I was farming tuna for feasts. I got about 70 fish and one nugget… I also got some wire of some sort

I can make dragon nuggets once a day, a small pile of them, your welcome to have them.

I have had over ten of them. They only drop from the special pools that are granted by the Tuskaar rep. The Highland Leaper pools, Ice fish pools and molten fish pools. I’ve found Highland pools more frequent drops than the ice ones but they are rarer and spawn around the world.
There is actually a second “fishing hole” for the Tuskaar that increases the chances for these to drop when it’s at “Rich” quality from it’s rare pools. The problem is that it is on Molten fish this week, so you can’t see it unless you have unlocked molten fishing at rank 15.

How would you even?
I’ve been fishing for days now and haven’t gotten 1 single Draconium Nugget. How do we get these things done in a timely manner without getting so pissed off that we just quit doing it. Seems very selfish on Blizz’s part making these quests so costly on our time, and nothing else it getting done, and We Still don’t have the item we have wasted all our time On. Why can’t we make this item, I get a lot of the draconium Ore, but can’t make a Draconium Nugget, Doesn’t make sense to me. And they are so rare I can’t even find them in the auction house. are they auctionable?

They are bound on pickup. The best place to fish them is from the rare fishing spawns - I’ve noticed the overheated lava fishing pools are the best.
Yeah,I’m still fishing for them need two more to finish the fishing equipment. You get them sometimes in the fishing setting the nets across the expansion ,sometime fishing the rare fish,but it’s hard.
Poor system that’s for sure, you can get the other items that sit on your bags for weeks/months before ever getting something that shouldve dropped after 10 special fishing pools with low rep.
Bbq sauce also plz.

I’m also very frustrated with this little corner of this expansion. I have several of the items needed to upgrade fishing equipment, but not enough to do it. The nuggets have been so slow coming. It should not be THAT low of a drop rate.

I absolutely despise how these fishing upgrades were implemented. Sure, I just love to waste bag space on 5 different upgrade items because I don’t have enough of any of them to actually use. I’ve fished for hours - never had the overheated lava pools spawn, only the magma thresher ones, which is better than nothing but you have to wait for them to respawn once you fish them all up, so more wasted time. Tried ice fishing in Azure Span, after an hour didn’t get a single upgrade item so gave up on that. Occasionally got some upgrade items from prismatic leaper schools but those are few and far between. I haven’t even been able to finish the upgrades on my main. There’s no way in hell I’m going to do this on any alts.
