Anyone planning to race change when they are released? I’m curious on if their 2.5% mastery racial will also be available.

No but probs make a new Dracthyr when they can be other classes. Not sure what id make. Maybe a caster like Warlock if they can be one.
She is likely asking because they announced the classes already, it’s on Wowhead… in short, base classes.
p.s. either Earthen or Drac, can’t decide yet.

OP is asking if anybody gonna RACE CHANGE. I said no but will lvl a new one. This is under the Warrior subforum so i assume they were asking if anybody was race changing their Warrior into Dracthyr.
Not in the slighest, i have like 5 warriors and i would never do that or create another as a dracthyr
they are terrible looking, goofy and will look awfull with their skinny bodies.
I cant believe we got robbed of being a bulky and angry dragon as warrior, its preposterous.
Thens its just male Blood elf and female human with some gimmicks, but people can barely see cause the armor, rly can’t see why anyone would want that, but if they like i guess

Do dracthyr get the double jump and glide or is the evoker only?

I think glide is a racial though and available to all classes
Its not the same as DH double jump but its similar not as much height.
I thought it just had the glide portion. Jump + glide vs Jump + jump + glide of the DH.
What it does do is give you the same speed boost though which is really good.
The dracthyr racials all had their CDs increased according to the recent announcement, but glide was not mentioned.
It is a racial though, so doubt it would not be available to other classes.

Drac all the way, you can Soar, you can Glide, you can knock back and up for interrupt, you have more mastery, you gather better reagents.
What does Earthen have apart from not having to eat ?
Aesthetics… apart from people playing in the 1%, all of that you just listed is mostly irrelevant. For almost all of us, the most important decision is which model do we want to stare at for hours on end.

I’m indifferent on the visage form, though I think it’s much better than the Dracthyr dragon form.
I’ll probably take my Warrior Dracthyr and see how much more disruptive I can be with a knockback / knock up. Even on a 3min CD that’s pretty strong in PvP.
Because it lets you get a Blood Elf with an actual full beard instead of the current options which are completely lacking.
If the customization options (minus any jewelry/dragon effects) were ported over then I don’t think many people would actually care to swap. The racials aren’t that great outside of PvP and even then, they’re probably not that good.
Assuming the 2.5% mastery increase is also included, that’s pretty nice imo for a free passive.
It seem like a real waste to me to race change just for fullbeard, that you can make up for it with a good helmet, especially knowing normal blood elves have better racials in both pve and pvp
I will be. The human racial lost its luster a long long time ago, and the only other option I was considering was a Kul Tiran for the knock, but it doesn’t work for my mog. I’ll gladly take the glide, tail swipe, and knock.
Now that glide is confirmed as well, I’ll most likely be switching. Mainly for rated solo q bgs.
And from what I’ve seen, you still get the mastery buff as well.
Dragon racials are way too good imo.

Probably just make a new one, leveling is pretty fast nowadays.
Then again, I might make them another class since I’ll probably make my first Earthen a Warrior.
