Two kills today, no loot of any kind. I had no trouble getting loot multiple times yesterday including the hat and belt

at least some of you guys are getting loot…I’ve gotten nothing
Per character? Cos my main only had 6. Tried an hour later, got a green card (so, 7 now). Then tried a different toon and zero again (this one has no green cards). I haven’t had ALL the rewards across a few characters either - by which I mean the loot table still has many items that I haven’t got (which is fine, it’s RNG, just mentioning it to illustrate that it isn’t that).
I just know you won’t get one for sure if you’re at 10 (they’re useless after the quest anyway) - you can also buy them at the vendor right buy it, if you REALLY want one.
It’s not a 100% drop though.
Just did it on my main with nine green cards - no loot. Got loot at noon est, 2 est, and 3 est. Nothing at 4 pm est. (1 pm est was afk)

Is this all on the same character, or separate characters though?
Unfortunately, I’m pretty certain that they stealth hotfixed the event, so that we’re loot locked to once per day so basically you get one loot attempt per character each day and every kill after that point is locked out – we can’t keep farming the event on one single character any more, we have to bring in our army of alts (if you have them lol).
I got several loots in a row on the same character this morning.
I think the real explanation is RNG, no matter how much people don’t want to believe it.

people don’t seem to understand that once they’ve got a few items, the drop chance of other items “feels” like it’s lower, because they’re not getting something shiny with every kill.

I had the opposite happen to me. I tagged the Yeti in Valdrakken, then my game crashed, came back and Dr. Boom was dead, and I could loot him lol. only got green cards tho.

I think it’s probably just random, but if there is a lockout, it’s not once per character
That’s the problem lol, this isn’t happening for me any more, so now I’m just cycling through my alts.
When the event first dropped, I parked a toon in Val, Durotar and SW and was just killing whichever portal spawned and was getting all the loots. I still need the mount! Now, I kill Dr. Boom on one character, and don’t get loot from the event anymore past the first kill of the day. I went through like 5 or 6 kills on this character without loot from Dr. Boom. This includes the cards, I’m not looting those other than from the first kill either.
Well I dunno what to tell ya, but Dr. Boom’s corpse isn’t even sparkling for me to be able to loot it in the first place, again after the first kill.
Okay, so you killed it on 2 separate characters. Or 3? Was the Evoker the same character?

if you already have the majority of the drops, most of your loot will appear to be cards only.
…unless you have the maximum number of cards in your bag, which will make it look like you’re getting “no loot”.
Well if you were able to loot more than once on the same character then it’s really just RNG lol.
The only drop I am missing is the mount. I have zero cards after seeing earlier that they were potentially problematic.

the reason people are saying to get rid of the cards (if you already have the max amount) is because it will look like kills are giving “no loot”.

heh ok… just wanting to make sure the clarification is in there for people new to the thread who aren’t getting the drops they want.
it does feel like the bag has a lower drop compared to the Diablo event though.
Fair enough.
I have no idea on the bag though, I’ve looted it on several characters now this one included.
