Hello, I haven’t raided much since shadowlands and my friend hasn’t raided much at all but we are looking to join a guild together! I’ve raided in the past as a mage mainly, but when I came back to the game I started tanking and have been enjoying it in m+. I’m okay with DPSing in raid, and I’m fairly flexible but i would prefer to play a spec that could tank as well. My friend is fairly new to the game (started last fall), but she has been improving immensely and hit 3k io with me.
My current main is my VDH I’ve done keys as both tank and dps and i can play both of my specs. My current ilvl is 681. My friend is playing Resto Shaman and her ilvl is 671. She is willing to learn how to DPS and is flexible too, but would need to learn how to DPS. Realistically a healing spot would be much better for her.
We would prefer to raid on the weekends but any night works and would need to start at the earliest 9-9:30 EST since that is around when she gets home from work.
While we don’t have an immediate need for tanks, we’d still love to have you try out raiding with us as dps and fill tank when needed. Here’s a bit about us:
Gamer Down is a Mythic prog guild (5/8M LoU) raiding Tues/Thurs 10pm - 1am EST. We are also considering adding Sundays as the push for CE get closer. We are a tight-knit group focused on steady mythic progression with zero drama and strong leadership. Previous experience is 6/8M in NP , 4/9M Amirdrassil.

Hey Sylban, I am not sure the times fit, but I’ll take a chance anyways.
If you are interested in a “later in the evening” active and social, you may enjoy a guild like ours — small, close knit, but fun! I run this guild with my husband as my Co-GM. However, we are a Pacific Time based guild and it seems there is a shortage of guilds on that coast, but it does suit some MST/CST/EST players that work second shift, have spouse/kids to tend to, or simply are night owls. Currently we have roughly ~100 active members that make up roughly about ~330 characters (some are admitted altoholics!).
If raiding is what you’re looking for, we have two teams — a Mythic team and a Heroic team. The Mythic raiding team, Olympians, runs on TUE/THUR from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific, which is pretty serious about raiding and inching closer to CE season after season. Obviously that has pretty strict requirements to join, but we also are very cognizant of adult responsibilities and can pull from our Heroic team if real life smacks you in the face, as it often does. Our Heroic raiding team, Prophets, runs on WED/FRI from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific, and they’re much more easy going and laid back in their atmosphere (Flex raids allow for that much better!). Right now we’re looking to start to build a healthy bench for these raid teams as well, which helps those with limited time to access that content on the occasion they are needed to fill spots.
Aside from raiding, we constantly run delves and dungeons and there are several M+ runners and M+ static teams, as well as PvP teams, in our guild to go through that journey. We intend to be ACTIVE throughout the entirety of the seasons of content. We are also a social guild and encourage everyone to participate in Discord (our guild chat isn’t as active admittedly, as is with most guilds) which is our main hub for all our events! We host things like Cards Against Humanity, Truth or Dare, Pictionary, or TV/Movie watch parties too! There is always a few folks sitting in Discord to chat with too (mostly afternoons and evenings of course cuz we’re adults and work!), but not so many that it overwhelms.

We are always recruiting skilled players and players willing to learn regardless of class. We go with a work play hard mentality, where having fun and giving each other a hard time is more important than everything being done perfectly every time. We are looking for a final few regulars for our mythic progression team.

Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for players who play for fun, but also take the time to min/max their characters. Since we all have busy lives outside of the game. Successful raiders in our guild are characterized by two things: 1) personality; and 2) type of player. Gear is easy to get, but being a good team player is not. If you are number one on DPS but have a toxic personality, then you won’t be a good fit. Conversely, if you are the nicest person in the world but you always stand in fire, we also can not take you into progression. Dedicated Raid spots require 80% attendance to progression to maintain status

About Us:
Our guild was established in 2007 when we were playing Warhammer Online, and since then we have played various games together, including Guild Wars 2, Rift, SWTOR, Elder Scrolls Online, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, and Diablo 3.
Many of us work full-time (average age is 30’s) and can no longer commit to hardcore raiding progression due to out-of-game responsibilities. However, that doesn’t stop us from having fun and clearing content when we are together! Our primary goal is to clear heroic raids and obtain the “Ahead of the Curve” achievement before the next tier of raid content is released. We have achieved every Curve Achievement since WoD. Even though we are on an RP server, we do not participate in RP activities, but members are welcome to on their own.
Raid days and time:
Tuesday and Wednesday 10pm to 12am EST.
Thursday (Being a flex night, used for group Mythic keys and if needed for progression)
What we are looking for?
Raiders that know their class, understand that standing in (Fire, acid, voids, spikes, DEATH HOLEs, ect…) is not conducive to staying alive. Folks that have a good attitude and a drive to progress!
History:
We have been around since The Burning Crusade in 2007, Many Dragons have been punched and many long lasting friends have been made.
We have had the same raid schedule from the start, we value and respect our raiders time. So we only raid 2 hours a night, and expect our team to be logged in consumes in hand and ready to pull on time.
We have a lot fun with each other while keeping it above bar when it comes to discrimination. This guild has become more than just a group of friends playing a game and more of a family. Do we rib each other? Of course!
That being said we have minimal drama and this Train keeps on moving down the track.

Hey! My guild sounds like it may be a good fit for you! We are a one day a week raiding guild that is forming for 11.2 and beyond, raiding ONLY Sunday 1030pm til 0230am EST with the main purpose of progressing through as much mythic content as possible on an extremely lightweight schedule.
We are looking for chill players that dont take themselves too seriously and care more about good personality than performance. That being said, we will still hold all players accountable as we do want to see consistent progression.
Our leadership/core is all prior CE raiders of various rankings, with some of us having experience leading a one day mythic raid team to a very successful degree in the past.
