If you enter Zul’Farrak with the warrior weapons from Legion, Storm’Kar the warbreaker, Transmogged. All the mobs will be constantly feared.
A bit of funny big for warrior and even the boss will be fear too. Going to try this on my warrior. Apparently this was in remix and legions as well
Correct, it was flavour we got added to it’s backstory regarding Stromkar, the Warbreaker when we got this as the Arms artefact weapon as apart of Legion’s story.
A vykrul forged blade, imbued with elven magic and used to slaughter countless Trolls by the first king of the humans so they better run at the sight of it.
There was also something neat about it when equipped it allowed us to translate old god gibberish speak automatically since it was embedded into Zakajz the Corruptor for quite a while before we chanced upon him in Tyr’s tomb. Although not sure if this works now with the mog as it did with the actual Artefact itself.
Confrim you don’t even use have use the weapons as long as you have a 2 handed weapon mogs to Storm’Kar the warbreaker the rolls in Zul Farrak will still fear you. I just tested it. Bot a 2handed weapon mog as Storm’Kar in my bag didn’t equip it and went in ZulFarrak in TW and it still worked. The group was cluess as to what happen.
Did this on an earlier run using the weapon I was kill and once that happen all the trolls start attacking the group. XD
As I mentioned, the troll fear still works.
But the old god translation was the one I wasn’t sure if it was still working as it was.
Would recommend watching Platinum WoW’s video “The Most Important Human In Warcraft History”. Really explains why trolls fear it and how it came to be, and it’s a fun watch.
They never stop to think how dumb would look for a troll warrior to use that weapon
but hey, draeneis got the doomhammer as well, who slaughter their race by the hundreds
