Fury and arms absolutely need Shockwave back to even remotely have a chance at joining a high level M+ key (Typically in the ranges of 12+). I’ve frustratingly sat in Group Finder with 1100+ io and 395 ilvl yet cannot get invited to a 12 or higher, often times cannot even get into an 11. There is 0 reason to bring a DPS warrior because our only group utility, Rallying Cry, is extremely lackluster compared to what other classes bring.
Storm bolt should be baseline and Shockwave should be put into the spot that Storm bolt currently has on the tree. Talenting into Shockwave should replace Storm bolt.
I would kinda rather see Skull Banner. It was +30% crit damage according to the tooltip (and +30% crit chance according to another tooltip, though). Might be too broken either way nowadays, but it would be nice to bring more than Battle Shout…
warriors need battle rez and a move like shroud along with a healthy increase to single target dps. Also improvements on defensives like adding one more and lowering the cooldown on the one we have by say 2 min. Also they really need to make battle shout a passive buff like the monks speed. Why at this point would the warrior buff we an on click ability its not like there would ever be a reason not to use it.
edit:
I also agree on firing the person that decided to remove shockwave.
I mean, if we’re gonna ask for all those goodies why not a Bloodlust/Timewarp?
Oh daddy, stop.
This is where I take offense. I have to do more than spam whirlwind and jump in place inbetween pulls. I need battle-shout. Infact, It shouldn’t even have a CD.
They’re not really keen on external DPS cooldowns anymore except bloodlust. I think they rather enjoy the concept that we get one raidwide performance CD for when it makes the best sense in the given fight.
If they start giving them back you’ll have a lot of CD stacking going on which they also were trying to trim down. About all I could see them do is create different versions of Bloodlust based on class where you get X% crit, versatility, or mastery and that would give raids a bit of flexibility for what they may want to go with. Although I’m not sure how many would actually opt for something over haste.
I could see versatility working very well with a bloodlust type buff. It’s flat damage, flat healing and flat DR. It’s good for everyone and with a big enough Vers buff it could very noticeable - but It could cause conflict if you could only use one bloodlust/timewarp effect.
Well it’d cause major rebalancing issues if you could do all four in a single fight. The idea would be to choose what you’d want based on the fight or how your raid stacks up, but I don’t really know if its work out in practice or if one would just become superior. Ideally vers may not be as big of a DPS boost because it factors the defensive component whereas mastery could be designed to be more helpful for healers. Haste may stay the all around most balanced of the options.
You’d probably have to add a specific component to each one to make it a bit more obvious. Like Versatility increases your versatility by X% and your avoidance by X%, Mastery increases your mastery by X% and your leech by X%, Haste increases your haste by X% and increases your speed by X%. Crit increasing crit by X% and damage by X% or something.
Because they have instant long duration CC, an AoE defensive that benefits the group (plus a short CD solo defensive, and solid self-healing), strong ST, and strong AoE that requires 0 change in gameplay from their ST rotation.
If they didn’t have a ST stun, AoE stun, and massive mobility as well, they’d be trash and nobody would ever bring one /s
Of course, just for fun, you can also add in that their interrupt also generates Fury for them, and they also have a long range cleave to slow.
No, it has a cooldown because it’s really loud and has a big animation. On the beta you could spam the crap out of it and give cancer to anyone standing near you.
