I’ve been having dps lately who are pulling groups and then blaming the tank for “not being able to handle them”. i’m over here arguing with them about it cause i’m playing on my tauren shaman as healer, and it’s frankly getting irritating. What is up with DPS as of late? The last few days i’ve always had some dungeon runs with at least one of these types. For months before this I wasn’t having this issue

Just let the DPS die. When they get their teeth knocked in enough times they’ll either learn or rage and try to kick people. Personally I feel like the Healer and Tank should have an extra vote in the whole kicking process since their roles are critical. Most DPS are expendable and abuse their votes 9/10 times.
If a Tank and Healer could veto it, it’d do a lot to fix the LFD experience.

a vote shouldnt be able to go through with out both tank and heals clicking yes ,obviously if it was one of the two then the other role and others would have to vote yes.
the way i see it is with bullions and everyone being close to bis everyone is just getting way to power mad, dps think they can kill everything instantly ,tanks think they are gods and pull too much and poor healers are like yea you all screwed. the go go go mentally that 75% of tanks have doesnt help because then the dps used to going fast and get too impatient
hopefully TWW throws a wrench in all of it and forces people to play normally / makes people pull their head out of their crack

Tank isn’t moving quick enough. A leveling dungeon shouldn’t be a two hour long affair.

tanks pull speed is usually in response to their own gear / confidence lvl yea dungs shouldnt be a two hour affair but you know whats more annoying than a long dungeon, wiping because dps get impatient and kill the tank by pulling extra.
there is a good speed to pulling , a slow annoying speed and a “im a DH hur hur hur speed”. i cant wait for TWW to come about and have so many people die because its not a fated season and they got crappy gear for the first 2 weeks.

If the dps pull by accident, try to recover and move on. If they are doing it on purpose, vote them out. If the vote doesn’t work then leave the dungeon.

Honestly as frustrating as it is, and this is coming from someone who’s main has been a blood dk since BFA, if people are pulling for you as a tank, it’s because you aren’t pulling big enough and you are wasting their CDs by pulling too small.
Most players get used to a standard pug route that the general playerbase uses for each dungeon over the course of the season and when a tank makes 1 pull that’s smaller than normal, the CDs that the rest of the players in the group are used to using on certain pulls become out of sync for the rest of the run because of it.
On the other hand I do agree people shouldn’t be pulling for the tank, and it’s unfair to a tank who is still learning to be adding that extra stress on so I see it from both sides but at the end of the day it’s something you have to learn to deal with as a tank because ultimately your job is to set the pace of the dungeon and make smart pulls and routes. If you aren’t doing that as a tank, you’re hurting your group

They do it anyway. These clowns who can’t play it properly should do follower dungeons and let players who know how groups are supposed to work play without their disruption and excuses.

Leveling dungeons can be done without a healer and tank, people just aren’t allowed to because of the queue system lol.

During season 1 of DF, my friend had returned to the game and he had made a druid tank. We were starting to run mythic keys and I warned him about how some players were ridiculous with their behavior. One of the very first keys we ran was an Azure Vault +2. I had listed the key with the description that we were new to the keys and still learning and to have patience.
We had a demon hunter that started to argue about the “skip”. I told him we weren’t doing it and to chill. He spent the remainder of his time with the group arguing about it and laying insults on my friend for not knowing it. I kicked him and relisted.
Sometimes people are just downright ridiculous. Don’t waste time on them. Get rid of them and move on. (Flushes toilet)

This is why the gods created follower dungeons. For many of us it may replace pugs all together. And maybe delves will help once we find out what that’s all about.

it’s been happening for a while honestly…it’s why i refuse to tank for groups I didn’t personally build as I got sick of them. It’s worse when the healer is in on the griefing by not healing the tank after the DPS pulls that kinda crud as that’s what ruined tanking as DK for me back in wrath. I’d done alright for the first part then DPS started pulling everyone and as I tried to do my job healer healed the DPS and and only the DPS then joined in on the “Wow tank you suck…gtfo of our group” prior to me getting a loading screen and the message “You’ve been removed from the group” the second I released to walk back as healer made it clear I wasn’t getting a rez either. I tried to tank as a paladin and I was yet again doing well, the enemy attacked me and nobody else… DPS pulled stuff…Healer ignored me…I had to pop my self heals and DPS kept pulling… yeah I tried tanking as a druid in BFA…did my job…got trolled again so… yeah it needs to be fixed. I’ll level as a tank spec but I refuse to tank…even as a DPS I see it happen to tanks or the trolls are extra cruel and they redirect to the healer as tank booked it for last boss. I get people can be in a hurry but even still…there is such a thing as the need for manners when gaming with others even in random groups. People just seem to forget this

What if their new to the game? Follower dungeons are a god awful way to learn the game & class role as it is laughably easy and do not offer a challenging difficulty. People like you are the reason this game is dying. Players get treated like trash for being new to something

I was tanking a TW dungeon last night and I usually pull as fast as I can nonstop.
This DH still got in front of me and started pulling.
if youre healing, as someone said, let them die.
The tank shouldnt even bother with it if he’s not wanting them to pull.
Vote to kick if theyre causing problems with the run.
