Haven’t really played much since Legion, subbed for BfA and SL but barely played. starting fresh on a new main but just got back and really haven’t played any video games/used my PC for almost a year now so im pretty rusty.
Playing a druid rn and i am wondering for someone like me what would you recommend i play spec wise. Dps or healer as a main spec? going into DF and playing more consistently and trying to do content i want to do such as raiding again, m+, pvp rbg’s and arenas. Im obviously not the best but skill level wise im super rusty. don’t even have a guild to raid with so even if i were to go healer not guaranteed a spot for healing.
At the moment, Warlocks are looking pretty good. If you’re into caster DPS, I’d try that.
For healers, Druids always seem pretty solid, but I would have a backup plan in case you’re the “extra” healer. Balance Druids are also looking very good for now and the gear is roughly the same between Resto and Balance.
tried warlock but didn’t fancy it. mostly just a class fantasy thing. sticking to druid though but stuck between balance and resto for a main spec.
i probably should have mentioned this cause i think it plays into it but also expecting our first child with due date in April so i don’t think i will be playing as much for a while as i want to. helping take care of the baby and all that. I feel like dps would be easier to adjust with that over healing but idk.

I would recommend you remain Druid. Druid can do everything. Tank, heal, melee dps, and ranged dps, all of which are pretty good.
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend warlock but that’s just me for DF. Mage / boomy boi / for dps and druid / evoker for heals
Demonology is a lot of effort for like average damage
Destro… eh idk what’s going on with that spec
Affli : 20% worse than the above 2 specs
If you like both Rshaman is the bomb both healing in group and DPSing out in the world for a healer.
I just leave my shamans in Resto all the time.
Very easy to heal with and get decent DPS in groups too.
I am talking about Druid specifically o.O" I am going to be maining druid but can’t decide for maining boomkin or resto spec given my circumstances.
Healers are always more valuable.
