im, lookin for a good palce to find out what dps is top of the charts these days i found a site called wow-dps and idk if its any good id link it but apprently blizz dosent allow that any more ether

Above link is a better measure of what classes are playing well as you can see actual players and their build. Below is just maximum simulated damage and not necessarily an accurate measure.

Top 10 based on Noxxic:

  1. Balance Druid

  2. Affliction Warlock

  3. Demonology Warlock

  4. Frost Mage

  5. Marksmanship Hunter

  6. Arcane Mage

  7. Destruction Warlock

  8. Survival Hunter

  9. Assassination Rogue

  10. Elemental Shaman

Notes: Always sim for both ST and MT and change according to situation. Balance druid is running celestial alignment in its top performing builds.

Pratically what Vhx has said. I recommend WarcraftLogs too, as it is quite accurate. But do take not though, your numbers aren’t going to match the same as what it will say as your performance may varry on how well you know and play your class.

That must be the first list I’ve seen where DH isn’t top 10.

I don’t buy this at all. Pretty much every high level mage plays fire over frost and does good DPS. I don’t think Noxxic is reliable.

I thought Noxxic more focuses on numbers in PVP?

Actually you’re both right.

Performance differs greatly vs simmed damage because of player preference and skill.

I’ll edit my post to include this.
