Does anybody want a DPS spec for bear form other than me?
Bears are physically superior to the big cats druids use for DPS in every way—including strength.
Every time I see the cut scene where Malfurion murders an entire caravan while in bear form, I feel like the actual bears in WoW are wet noodles.
I understand adding another specialization to the druid class is impractical or insane. But maybe cat form shouldn’t exist.
That cutscene was an absolute cracker. And then dragging that orc underground with roots! It’s so brutal! Man I miss having actual nature spells that do damage.
Anyway as for bear, I do enjoy using it for solo stuff sometimes. I think it hits pretty hard. Or it did anyway. I actually haven’t tried it at all with the new talents. Less iron fur, more maul. But it’s never going to be an actual dps spec, because they already have one. It’s just inefficient from a game design point of view. Unless there’s some major development in the future akin to warriors’ gladiator stance. We can but hope!
But no, come on. Cat form is amazing right now.
I think Tigers are capable of beating Bears in a fight? (Except Polar bears).
That’s what the Jungle Book said, though. 
I think Discovery channel did a comparison tiger vs bear using computer technology and based on the result the tiger won for it mobility.
Or maybe they should have left Feral as a dual purpose spec that could focus on tanking or damage or somewhere inbetween as it used to be.
