Downtime again

Ignoring the white knight’s, I really think they are having a hard time lately. Something seems wrong. All the downtime, server lag,… Something is up. I feel it in my bones!

The 4 hour maintenance is to do live testing of the trading post, but it will still be broken tomorrow because Blizzard always fails to deliver.

Is OP seriously asking 'why don’t blizzard employees go to work at 1am for my convenience"

not for chinese farmers

You said California has wierd working conditions, im suggesting a place u can go where the conditions are the best in the world.

It is not appropriate or kind to make generalized and derogatory comments about a specific cultural group, as it can perpetuate harmful stereotypes and contribute to discrimination. The fact that not all farmers are Chinese individuals further highlights the inappropriate nature of making such comments and the importance of avoiding the perpetuation of harmful stereotypes in all forms.

Actually, I do things during the rest of the day. I play in the early morning during the weekdays as I am retired from the power industry. I would wager that you would whine (interesting can’t use the B word, must be one of those gender sensitive things now) and moan if we shut down your electricity every Tuesday morning for an hour or say like today for 5 hours each and every week for “routine” maintenance. And for emergencies, we would get around to it when we felt like it, say after the storms cleared up.

Buggy, half-baked patch. Contrived release cycle. Sloppy.

Uhm, yes and its 4am. Its what businesses to do to Provide the best efforts to limit downtime for their customers.
Best time to do that? 4am. Most west coast players are off and most east coast players aren’t on yet… (I said most because I know someone will come in and say "But I play at those times!!)

You didnt learn anything about maintenance since 2004 lol ?

Only issue I have with a 4-6 hours shutdown today is that we will be down again tomorrow for the launch of the trading post. That’s the issue with today’s being so long.

And all this science
OP don’t understand
It’s just my job five days a week
A rocket man
A rocket man

And I think it’s goona be a long, long time…

Okay, first, you do know people who have actual jobs don’t just walk in at ‘opening’ time right? Blizz employees are probably at the office at 5 or early for the 7am downtime.

Also, wow is a global game. There’s literally no a single time frame where players wouldn’t get affected.

Evidently they don’t have much in the way of working conditions in California. I think that they call them piddling around when ya feel like it conditions.

Correction. Business person. Not a rocket man :joy:

Then the next day cause trading post breaks within an hour. heh

It has been really bad lately. They are having some serious issues. They have a real hard time as a Company keeping up with the changing scope of their industry. No one waits 4-6 hours, 10 hours, daily 2 hour restarts, etc… For an A list game.

I love WOW but something is wrong.

It would be inaccurate and unjust to equate the cessation of electrical power supply with the temporary closure of the servers for the online game World of Warcraft. These two scenarios are not analogous and should not be considered equivalent in nature.

Sigh… Re-read what I posted.
