Curious to hear memories of your early days in vanilla. what are some of the most memorable things you did? I remember sitting around a fire with horde friends outside Goldshire where the Darkmoon fair took place. swimming around the edges of the continents and finding that one troll village, or the gnome island, or several other locations hidden around the coasts. sadly many of those locations no longer being in game…tho there is a cave with a sleeping dragon yet… that was nearby that troll village i mentioned… these are things id do when i got stuck leveling and wanted to just explore or do my own thing in my lv 20s even in my 60s. I loved exploring the world, and coming back to my friends and telling them what id found. even taking some to those special places to share the awe and wonder of why is this here what was it for.

Learning that Eyes of the Beast is bar none the most enjoyable way to have a little fun at the expense of others.
Two friends account shared to rank 14. One friend decided to log on the others account, de rank his buddy to rank 4 or lower and disenchated his gear (at the time blizz wouldnt restore DE items) . And filmed the whole thing.

hahah i used the eyes of the beast a lot to mess with new players… there was a scorpion in the orc starting area and id take my hunter there, tame it, rename it the same as the mob name. hide my hunter far back and use the eyes of the beast and slow patrol around as if my pet was the mob. killing the real mob with my pet when it re spawned maaaannnnyyy a noobs were killed with this fun trick lol
Eyes of the beast was also extremely enjoyable in booty bay… o.0, only needed to make darn certain your FD did not get resisted.
This allowed us to endlessly terrorize the bay while remaining totally unharmed by the bruisers.
