Anyone else get the feeling we will be clearing BFD and Gnomer at lvl 40 for maximum progression??
Are you saying BFD gear will be relevant and people will still be doing it in addition to Gnomer? Considering the nature of Classic, that would be a fair assessment.
well Kelris is tuned for level 40s it seems, so probably
If you look at the classic loot pool, the BFD loot is better than any world loot available at lvl 40, with a few minor exceptions.
I can see doing BFD for trinket since good trinkets are rare at low levels, but most of the loot will be garbage compared to what you can get in Gnomer. It doesn’t seem feasible to tune gnomer to required BFD gear since it’s a 15 level difference.
Casters may have more incentive to get BFD gear because there is hardly any spellpower gear even at level 40. But I bet it won’t be worth the time when you can get gnomer gear.
They should revamp SM/RFD loot tables for catch up gear imo.
May I bring the pearl to your attention in two parts
One the trinket is going to be very strong as trinkets in classic are very limited as is and i doubt they add x2 trinkets for every spec in gnomer
Two would be the world buff as you need a fresh character to get the quest to drop the world buff - If the buff works for characters over level 25 the 20% movement speed ( crit/hit/SP + as well ) is rest of the game mandatory
The epic staff/xbow being extremely powerful they will have some staying power as you wait for new drops
I’m actually feeling bad for Kelris and Aku’mai if people are still gonna be running it at 40, lol.
Those rare epics alone are worth running for.
Also the trinkets, not many of those around.
I feel like it’s by design- the raid is short and can be done every 3 days, and this will also help for folks still around the 25 level range, they can get gear that will last to 40.
