This is actually complete trash. Your only course of action is just to have honor at 20x what it is right now. Your company has already wasted 3 days worth of time of an already limited pre patch. This gear will be useless after level 70, why not just unlock the flood gates and have honor be at 20x until June 1st and then wipe all honor across every account? 20x during pre patch would allow everyone to gear whichever characters they want. There are so many inconsistencies here it is insane, people were able to honor cap multiple characters on day 1, just sitting with 75k honor waiting - there are people with full greens using rank 14 weapons just because they were able to login earlier. You need to put the honor back, let every single person experience it and get what they need from pre-patch and then wipe honor on release. It is seriously the only correct course of action that you have left. I spent over close to 8 hours in AB yesterday, I got 63 AB marks and only 4800 honorā¦ you seriously canāt expect double the honor to be worthwhile after nerfing it 90%? You have a population that got to abuse the honor and are still benefiting from it, while others that did not get to experience it are without gear and now punished because with these honor gains itās impossible to get more than 2-3 pieces before June 1st

Since no one seems to be addressing the issue with constructive questions or things they have noticed after the supposed honor fixes I thought Iād try to explain why it doesnāt seem to be working as promised quite yet. According to the blue post we were promised a 2X increase to global honor gained to address the hotfix that nerfed honor by 90%. This appears to be working and providing the honor as promised. AV is granting 84 honor for killing Balinda today where it was 42 yesterday, and AB is providing 40 honor per tick where it was 20 yesterday.
Where things seem to fall short is the blue post also mentioned the bonus battleground weekend doubling that honor again as quoted here:
" For the rest of the pre-patch timeframe, weāre doubling Honor gains from all sources in the Burning Crusade pre-patch. This will also double the additional Honor granted by the weekend holidays for each Battleground"
This is not currently the case and I have a suspicion as to why its not working properly just yet. Instead of increasing the backend multiplier for honor gain by 2X, blizzard seems to have just turned on the Bonus Honor Weekend flag for ALL battlegrounds. This can be seen when you are in any of the BGs because you have the āSign of Battleā buff stating you get 100% honor gained. Because every BG is technically being flagged with the bonus honor flag, there needs to be a second flag applied to AB to get the further 2x multiplier for being the actual bonus weekend.
TLDR: Instead of fixing the backend honor multiplier blizzard just turned on the bonus honor flag for every BG for the 2x global increase. Since AB is supposed to be the bonus BG atm it cant benefit twice, unless they add a new special buff or actually address the backend multiplier.

Blizzard Read this he is 100% correct.
Also we are not getting 2x honor on the daily quest for these exact reasons. However I suspect something else is going on with the BGs because we are getting no additional AB rep either.
fix the honor or just dont even release tbc terrible company right now.

The buff is only applied in BGs, if it works like this we would never get double honor from the daily quest.
Just did the math, and itās still going to take roughly 112 ABs to get only my weapon. I currently have 9700 honor. Lol.
This change sounded good. But legit did nothing.

Everyone the wins or losses isnāt important. That isnāt how you are supposed to get honor. You are supposed to get the bulk of your honor by HKās. Right now they are being divided among everyone which is the bug.
If I solo kill a player I get 28 honor
If me and someone else kill a player we both get 14 honor (which is wrong)
If everyone hits a target we get 4 HONOR (this is what is broken)
We need to fix the honor we get for HKās. Otherwise itās better to fight solo and gank ppl on the road. We should be getting 1,000ās of honor from HKās an hour.

Itās working correctly guys. AB bonus is at lower resources thresholds. Not increased ticks. So itās a tick every 250 resources instead of every 330 resources.
