The pre-patch is dead for me now, I do not have enough playtime available to even consider farming this gear which i have been excited to do for months.
I have been playing since April of 2005 and have never felt so bleak about the future of this game. Is it really this hard guys?? You made this change on a dime off some random guy’s incorrect evidence and then when presented with correct facts you still cant get it right? What the hell is going on over there?
Blizzard really screwing the player base. short prepatch, unplayable for a day at launch, full of bug after release, nerfing the honor to the ground on a pre patch that is supposed to help new player gear up for the upcoming tbc.

Just got a 4 cap AB win and got 194 TOTAL honor.
I just don’t get it, If you heard us loud and clear you would FIX the honor. Making some pointless change that doesn’t address the problem isn’t hearing us. It’s like you hear there is a problem then IGNORE the feedback on what is the problem so then change something else.
Guess I’ll go back to questing if you aren’t going to FIX honor! Doubling broken honor gains is still broken. Classic Activision. Honestly we need better than this. I do appreciate you Kaivax for talking to the community. I am not trying to shoot the messenger here but you need to tell the people making decisions to start listening and deliver the correct results.
They are suppose to be rebooting “soon” even though the BG weekend is ticking away as we speak.
That’s weird, the photos on reddit from og pre patch show people getting up to 10-14 honor per kill whereas I am lucky to get 3 honor on the current 2021 prepatch.

i played cusualy in pre patch back then and i got full gear in about a week and even started to gear one of my other alt…what are you talking about?
lol im getting 14 solo kill, in a grp its split so its indeed correct, most ppl get 1 in av, it sucks and its not the best but it is correct.
This is excellent, now I only need to PvP 16 hrs a day for the duration prepatch, to get what others got on Wednesday.
@Kaivax can you please acknowledge you and your team messed up? This ‘2x honor’ doesn’t fix the sudden impact you guys had on the community. You have completely ignored all our out cries until now and never even addressed the fact that your 10x nerf was based off incorrect info from 1 person - Andycloud.
I just tried to do another AB bg and the honor is still garbage. I have 0 incentive to give you or your company any more money because of how mismanaged this prepatch release has been. You originally had Eye of the Storm queued for the weekend? What a joke. Do your developers even play or understand the game? If not then why are they ‘developing’ a game they don’t understand.
Please revert the honor back closer to the original. Allow us to pvp to our hearts content and be properly rewarded for it before TBC launch. No one should feel the need to grind 30hours of gamplay for 1 item during a prepatch when that item will be replaced within a month. You already offered a paid boost to characters, why not stay in line and bring the honor back to where it was originally?
So disappointed in Blizzard’s roll out of prepatch. Clearly, you and your team were not prepared.
This is the main problem, you should be getting 1,000s of honor per hour from HK’s. They are the main source of honor. Not the bonus crap.

I am seeing EoTS envoys all over Org. Am I safe to assume your change of the PVP weekend did not happen on time and we will loose out on the bonus honor offered until you can force this “restart”. You also decided to make us wait for the increases amount of honor despite the fact you hotfixed the nerf with no issue.
Why do you feel the need to negatively impact the players even with your decision to walk back your mistake?
