Thanks for fact-checking, not that there was any sources implying it was not a private server at the time of that post.
Not that i dont understand why’d a youtube video rather than the original video was posted.
What an absolute joke. Doubling does virtually nothing when you decrease by a factor of TEN. I seriously cannot wait for AoC so I can be completely done with blizzard for good. So incredibly tone deaf it’s wild. They blew it again
I feel you ive lost the “hype” of tbc just thinking what next they will do to screw it up. It not even started yet and they making such out of toucht mistake that some pepole alredy quiting…
very very doubtful that its a pserver. they didnt pick up steam till wotlk. on top of that, what pserver has prepatch for its content within 16 days?
Doubling the honour gains from what they are now isn’t good enough at this point in time.
I’m not sure where exactly that would land in terms of accuracy to the original pre-patch rates, however, it would mean that it would take approximately 13 days playing 8 hours a day to achieve the amount of honour some people were able to gain in the 11 or so hours before you hot-fixed the original issue.
So not only have you shortened the pre-patch significantly to meet your budget deadlines, you cost your player base a day of that time due to mistakes made during maintenance (while you could argue they were out of your control, the bottom line is you were not prepared), you have also cost a large number of players further time due to the hot-fix issue (many of us, myself included, simply stopped playing the BGs as it was a waste of time at that stage), now you are allowing a section of the player base to retain a significant advantage over the majority of players.
All you offer in return, is a doubling of the current honour levels which even with a full 14 day pre-patch as promised would still require a play time at the levels of a full time job to obtain the gear people are setting out for.
I feel sorry for you Kaivax, you’re a person like the rest of us. Just doing your job. It’s a shame that you work for such an unethical, mismanaged, dishonest company as Blizzard-Activision.
Has this been implemented yet?
You forgot the bug that kick you from a bg after x time that made pepole waste a lot of time
No, they are waiting for saturday 4am realm restarts.
Force restart EU already damn it…
How about a 32% increase instead of double ?
That way ,the 10% becomes 42% , and it’ll follow the calculation tendencies of ‘‘adjusting’’ numbers. I.E : Copy character service.
Much sad. This is a joke. Revert the previous honor if you don’t make it the same you clowns.
PS. Im selling my stocks today
Lmfao so we lose 3 days worth of grinding gg blizz
I mean if u farmed the first day then you should have made over 50k easy…
Inadequate.
Blizzard, giving a starving man 2x more food that he is curently eating is not the way…
2 time nothing = nothing last time i checked.
Wish they would just hotfix it like they hotfixed the nerf and give the 10x back… we don’t have 7 weeks to farm, we have 10 or 11 days at this point. Makes me not wanna play tbc… retail is looking better and even that is saying something with 9.1 not having a release date.
Ok so now instead of 15 days played to get 1 item it will only take 7.5, even though there are only 10 days in prepatch
So it comes Tuesday? You kill the factor of enjoyment your player base had and now with extremely limited time and only a single weekend for players who do work and will lose this upcoming one what is the point?
You have shown that blizzard does not care for its player base.
Clearly.
You hotfixed the reduction, by a factor of 10. Now after a few days it will be increased by a pitiful amount after waiting when it could be hotfixed? This is baffling.
Told you- they nerfed it 10x then slightly walked it back- I don’t even need to read this thread to know it’s full of simps praising Blizz for ‘listening to the community’.
This is the Blizz standard behaviour, and the playerbase is just as set in its role.
Er, they took away 10 times our food and gave us back a fifth of what we had. ( 10/5 = 2) i meant they gave us back only 2 of what they took, still having what we currently got.
Actcually w/e its still not correct that way.
My bad for being unclear? I guess.
You might want to use your calculator.
