Double check my $1000 rig works!

Should be quick, I had the most trouble choosing the motherboard. Wanted a ~$1000 system with some ability to expand in the future. Should be able to run games at decent settings. I don’t care about ray tracing…yet.

If you can get faster RAM for the same price I’d go with at least DDR4 3600. If you live near a Micro Center I would check prices there. Otherwise it all works.

TY very much, I uhh…did forget a hard drive but that’s an easy fix.

Also I have an AMD processor and an nVidia graphics card. I believe that’s not a major problem but I was told I might get better results with a Radeon?

It doesn’t matter. If it’s a problem it’s miniscule.

Core i5-11400/F is more powerful than Ryzen 5 3600.

Your Intel i5 will not fit in the AMD motherboard.
The 1200 is twice as much, as is the Intel possessor twice as much.

Obviously have to change the motherboard to fit i5-11400/F. H570 or Z590 boards are compatible.

Also, MSI X570 Gaming Plus is one of the bad boards due to weak VRMs. Asus X570-P is better.

thats one of the most faked cards hope you don’t get hosed on that

The 1050 ti is a very weak card.

Prob too late but with the cost of those components perhaps just buying a whole prebuilt PC be better?

Seen some on bestbuy with a 1660 super for around $1000.
