Do the orbs on Dios normally spawn at such a rate that to avoid multiple debuffs both under them have to move or is it possible to stand under one orb all the way through and not get the next set? Asking as on hunter/ranged DPS I can recall standing under an orb all the way till it lands and not having issues.
2 spawn at once and even if you sit an orb for basically its entire duration you still get a grace period. the strat is to let one orb hit asap and the other you wait until the debuff falls off and people are fairly topped
sincerely,
an orb sitter
if you stand in the second orb the entire duration it can overlap the first orb of the next set if the person drops it immediately. When doing orbs I typically drop the 2nd as soon as the debuff drops.
Thank you both, that explains it as “you can stay the full time, but commonly it is drop one, debuff falls off, drop the other”.
And we thank you for your service
as a bm hunter it is my sworn duty
Could never trust a dps, let alone the BM hunter I play with to get the timing right. Cloudburst is important.
the story is that i got dragged back to playing almost a month into the season after taking a break through a good chunk of s2
was running keys with friends and IMMEDIATELY got trained to be the orb sitter. now even in pugs i volunteer to do it because who can I trust if not myself
