So question for you that know I haven’t kept track but do dots snap shot still or is that over?

No except for a couple of circumstances but I can’t place my finger on what those are. But for instance for how it is now, if you Rupture during dance/blades and high Danse stacks, it’ll only keep those buffs until the buff durations go away
Well I was looking at race changing to orc and didn’t know if it would snap shot Blood Fury with garrote, rupture, and so forth like the bleed from the talent that adds % of mutilate damage as a dot and so forth. So I thought I would ask to see if anyone knew before spending the $$
I don’t think it will from that either, but if you cant get a better answer anytime soon, you can just create a class trial of the rogue and try it out on a dummy im fairly certain
The only snapshots rogue has are nightstalker (bonus damage while in dance/stealth). Dance macabre might snapshot as well. No racials or stat trinkets snapshot.

Danse does not snapshot. Tested this before with a fat rupture then it went to poo right when it ended
Yeah, from what I’ve managed to find recently, Nightstalker is one of the only things that still snapshots. Everything else only applies its damage increase for its actual duration and stops immediately once that is over.
you have to compare the damage of a rupture cast during dance at 0 macabre stacks vs a rupture with maybe like 4 macab stacks. If after dance drops the damage are the same then can confirm danse doesnt snap.
It probably doesnt otherwise we would be using rupture as last finisher during dance.
