Trying to do the Felcycle stuff, I have the key and standing infront of the catacombs instance and giant double door is blocking entrance. I can’t even see the portal. Yes I have my torch out. Yesterday I had to have a warlock put a portal down to go through door.
By the way I just tried my paladin and I was able to walk through the door and see the portal, dk is phased somehow.

Is the DK in the process of acquiring the Unholy Artifact?
I only ask because they use the same area for the Artifact quest chain.
The dk is not currently doing any quest besides the two weekly ones. The dk is my main, all of my alts are able to walk straight in. It’s really annoying me because I want to do this on the dk.
Then it was kinda weird today. I was standing in front of the door, randomly it would open up then close. I could see people inside, but I couldn’t go inside. Something is definitely off. I’m really hoping somebody can help me.
I have been seeing other reports on the Discord about some characters being blocked from entering, but it seems to be sporadic.
I haven’t had a chance to go back today to check if my access is still working or not.
Hopefully whatever issue is blocking access will be corrected soon.
I’m having the same issue and was wondering if you ever figured out how to progress? What’s funny when I swap to a different character the door is gone, but I don’t have the key on my alt so still cant enter. Might just have to get the key on an alt to progress unfortunately.
Still the same issue. I went and got the key on my paladin and started doing something’s inside. The doorway is only on the dk, all of my other toons have no door.
Did you get this figured out?
If it is any consolation, I’ve had the same problem. I’ve even directly reported the issue to the Dev in charge of the mystery (not that this is something he can fix himself, but he was made aware of it).
And yeah, I also had my key, my torch out and was not engaged with any quests/phasing for other quests/xpacs/classes.
Finally, Solve it, guys. I could not access the catacomb despite having the torch on, but u need to have the “peculiar key” in your inventory; I put it in the bank and grabbed it, and the problem was solved! (keep all the quest items in your inventory to be sure)
