how do u use it on prepatch? it wont let me cause of the leggo and i put the leggo in my bank now it just says nuthng when i press if its in a macro.
Pretty sure it requires a target now and is now a short ranged attack.
Edit: Triple check that you have the skill tree spell on your bar.
basically, have a target yes i have, in melee yes i am, but in a castsequence macro where its not the first thing it doesnt activate, on beta tho it does with the same macro. im guessing doom winds legendary is blocking it.

I think doom winds is bugged but not in the way you describe. I activate it and it doesn’t trigger wf even once.
Are you in melee range of the target and do you have windfury weapon imbue on your weapon?
I’ve had issues with it, too. Doomwinds won’t activate when I drop Windfury Totem, even though I’m wearing the legendary and I’m in Shadowlands. Perhaps it’s related to me talenting into Doomwinds, as well, which might be confusing the system.

Sorry. Seems basic… but I’ve been guilty of the imbue mistake so many times lol.
I would say do not use the talent of Doomwinds. I dont have it but the Doomwinds leggo still works for me. I do think your right that it is confusing the system.
