Escalating the bug reported in the PTR forum Pressing the ^ key exits game client
Pressing the ^ / ¨ key on the French AZERTY keyboard on macOS instantly crashes the game.
This is highly annoying since every time we write a chat message, we’re at risk of pressing the doomed key in an attempt to write a ë or a ô (which are super common in French) and crash the game.
As French players who write a lot of messages to my friends and other players, we’d highly appreciate to have this bug fixed in a next build.
This is a regression from the TWW prepatch, this problem didn’t occur in Dragonflight. WoW Classic is not affected too.
