Doom Winds not working in cast sequence

Sorry if anyone else has touched on this. Is anyone else finding that Doom Winds won’t work in a cast sequence? I figured now that Ascendance and DW are on overlapping cds I could sequence macro then ie

#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=65 ascendance, doom winds, doom winds

I know it’s not optimal but it’s 1 less keystroke for my tired old hands lol.

I have made many macros through out the years but this one gets to doom winds and just stops, the icon changes but DW wont work when pressed and it just breaks down.

Anyone else having a similar issue? I’ve tried deleting my addons, wtf and cache and evens a fresh install. Nothing seems to affect it not working.

Ascendance is a 2 minute CD. You’d want it to be

/castsequence reset=120 Ascendance, Doom Winds, Doom Winds

This works for me.

Doom winds was originally a legendary item ability from shadowlands i believe and i think the spell id must overlap and so it cant be /cast. As for how to fix it ive no idea, but it also does nothing for me.

/castsequence reset=5 Doom Winds

does absolutely nothing
