In the Warcraft franchise, World of Warcraft delivered significant year-over-year growth in reach, engagement and net bookings in the fourth quarter following the September release of Wrath of the Lich King® Classic and the November launch of Dragonflight™. While early Dragonflight sales have not reached the level of the prior expansion, community feedback on the title has been positive. Blizzard has announced plans to deliver substantially more follow-on content for the expansion than in the past, and post-launch subscriber retention in the West is higher than recent expansions. Elsewhere in the Warcraft franchise, mobile title Warcraft: Arclight Rumble™ continues to progress well through regional testing.

This is over the entirety of their games catalogue. I doubt Blizzard has 14 million players playing WoW.

Maintenance andys are just a vocal minority. The real doom will come when the Curse of Bobby rears its ugly head again.

Also yeah, I’m sure all 14 million of those MAUs are playing WoW. :cowboy_hat_face:

They will never reveal the sub population again heres why.

Because last time that happened it was lower people wrote articles about the game being to old for a subscription.

It really impacted the growth,

Hiding the numbers overall from the public is deceptive but needed in todays cancel society and band wagon flaming.

IMO less people buying Dragonflight after the disaster that was Shadowlands is expected. People are wary or ditched. Player retention being higher is promising, let’s see where they go from here.

Lol I honestly forgot about Arclight Rumble, like it died during development or something.

I remember the reception was not good! Not at all, lol. It still had bad reviews, and it’s not even out yet.

Still surprised to see it’s not out yet, when it was announced in May 2022.

I heard people who got to playtest it during the last Blizzcon, and said it was not a good game, more than likely an attempt like Diablo Immortal, just a cheap gatcha game that’s moreso a vehicle to get kids to part with their parent’s money, a-la Fortnite.

Based on what I’ve seen, a mix of tower defense games like Bloons, and RTS like Clash of Clans.

Not after blizz nerfed my damage by 17%, nerfed my mana regen by half, gutted divine favor 6 times and then nerfed my necrolord conduit by half :dracthyr_cry_animated: not having vanq hammer is probably what i dislike the most about df atm tbh, really didn’t care for Divine toll or blessings :frowning:

Daily* 4 out of 7 days last week at least. If it was weekly people wouldn’t be annoyed.

Other than that DF feels solid.

Player retention is higher? After the recent re-release of the most popular xpac in WoW history? You don’t say…

Make a game more grounded in Fantasy, and not some weird plane walking dealing with other realms, give back more RPG elements and remove grinds and people magically dont wanna leave your game?
