Dont worry about the demo

Please do not worry about the Demo, its just a demo put together for the sake of hype and advertisement.

You must all remember that this is not a finished product or even close; there is much work yet to be done or this product would be shipping directly AFTER Blizzcon, and we know that's not happening.

What's left to do if there is a working demo?

Things like lighting, sky box, UI features, etc; they are not done presently, the demo client is using some modern wow function just to get it up and running so that we can see some physical hype instead of just another update. This is for all essentially a "PRE-PRE-Alpha" state that's not indicative of the actual final released product. I assure you Classic WoW will be as humanly close to the original Vanilla World of WarCraft as you can ever hope to imagine.
here's a little song i wrote
might wanna take it note for note
don't worry, be happy
In every life we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now

It's a lot further than pre-pre-alpha. Perhaps a pre-beta, if there is a beta.
With hype does come a sort of 'clutching at straws' by many people. To some people, the demo is a very very huge thing.

Could be, but you gotta consider that this is a game restoration not a new game, so Alpha on a restoration is different than Alpha on a new game.
Don't tell me what to do!
When is classic demo going to be playable, I'm guessing Nov 2?
Exactly. Some people just got to get their fix though, and that’s okay. As I have stated before, I purchased the ticket for the Classic Panel. But think about it. Would they even have a Classic Panel if the Demo was really that close to what the finished product will be? I am tired, Harland, tired of all the repetitive post about things which haven’t even been addressed by Blizzard. It does add to the flavor of this forum, but I want to be front and center and hear what they have to say at Blizzcon. It’s been a year now. They should be able to tell us something more concrete.
Just saying guys, with blizzard the -first- version of gameplay you see, is the gameplay you get.

Did all of you forget WoD alpha/beta? Hell, BFA??!?
I'll try to find some streamers who never played Vanilla play it to see their reactions.

What do you mean by this? What are you assuring people of in this post? That the modern water toggle will be removed, or the right-click report feature? I'm assuming you made this post to assuage the fears people have over the leaked images and videos of the demo.

I sincerely hope this is the case, Harland. I have more faith in the Classic team than the BFA team, that's for sure.
Based on the end note of Watercooler's statement I would seriously advise those who will have access to test it as much as possible, find the things we won't like and bring them to light as much as possible! I believe the Demo is also so we know what is coming in ahead of time so they can fix anything the player base calls out as bad.

Bob Marley is that you? Really? Thought you were dead?
How's Tupac and Elvis doing?
Had to look this song up. LOL
The demo is important because its the most tangible scrap of what the final product is going to look like that we've ever gotten.

No, I did not. Honestly, I was quite active in WoD, and kept seeing changes.

About BfA, I was not very active.
Cool I guess. I wanna see how the lighting, character models and stuff look. This will give that indication and nothing else. I am not getting the Virtual Ticket so I don't really care about the demo but I am obviously curious about how it's going to look.

Clearly you never had the chance to see the alpha version of Starcraft, hehehe.
But if we're not worried and voice our concerns, then the trolls will win with their "oh its fine", "can we make this one change", and blizzard might think it's a good idea.
