Don't waste Gold on Flying Training. It soon won't be required

Blizzard is making all old mount training automatic and free in Patch 10.1.5.

You’ll learn it as soon as you hit level 10, 20, 30, and 40.

At level 30 the Flying Quest will give the Alliance a boring generic Gryphon and Horde gets a unique flying Dinosaur.

So, if you got Alts then I suggest waiting and not wasting your Gold to get the fastest flying.

Oh, and apparently Dragon Riding will be enabled in Old World in that Patch too.

No word on the old expansion areas.

How come every time you create these sort of threads, you never add an article to the source to all this?

Cuz I’m not risking a ban.

Sharing information with the community in relation to World of Warcraft and linking to a source in relation to the information is not against the Forum Code of Conduct. So, why would you get suspended for?

You won’t get banned for posting a link to a reputable source like wowhead.

And if you can’t post links because you don’t have the trust level, you can post the link using preformatted text, like this: www.wowhead.com, which allows people to copy the link without issue.

I just don’t trust this community that much after I’ve been falsely reported numerous times only for a Moderator to restore my posts a few days later.

They can use google. I’m not risking it.

Its just an excuse for being lazy, I reckon. Its very easy to put in a wowhead link, but its more fun apparently to just state a fact and let people get annoyed about it.

So hard to do this:

Dragonflight 10.1.5 Developer Patch Notes - Fractures in Time - Wowhead News

Including: Characters that reach level 30 will receive the quest “Time to Fly” and be awarded with a flying mount, Harbor Gryphon for Alliance characters and Scarlet Pterrordax for Horde characters.

I don’t trust suspicious links.

one could hope dracthyr get to use the dragonriding mechanics with their soar ability at some point as making it a defective version is truly annoying.

Yeah, reskins. Nothing as exciting though.

I think its more tht they are providing a free flying mount to new players which is a good thing, reskin or not. I mean, all the faction flying mounts variants are reskins.

Yeah, true. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the sound of the Gryphon, but atleast it is not a flying horse.

It’s far too late for this Warrior; I got all my riding skills trained back in Cataclysm when I started as a Worgen and got every expansion’s skill since then.

The fact that Soar has all the Mount restrictions yet doesn’t get to use the Dragon Riding feature is insane

It also means that 280% flying will be fully removed from the game. It is kind of weird that characters with 280% flying weren’t automatically upgraded to 310% flying when they simplified flying upgrades, honestly.

Automatically earning the ability to use mounts is a HUGE win, especially for races like Worgen and Goblins. Removing automatic learning of mount training for Worgen was always a big mistake, especially considering how immersion-breaking it is to have to learn how to use Running Wild from a mount trainer NPC.

…because YOUR truths Blizz can’t stand. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They dont care if you post links. it wont let us because of the absurd restrictions on us who they deem unworthy yet to post them.
Wowhead usually is a freebie, as is anything from this website.
Everything else you need to put the ` character before and after the link to get it to show

Nah, I just know how petty players can be when proven wrong.
