Dont use private servers to judge classic

1.12 Vanilla WoW has been aggressively researched and documented by Vanilla enthusiasts for a decade now. This isn’t lost knowledge. A streamer and I were able to find errors in the WoW classic demo by switching back and forth from the demo to his toon on a vanilla pserver and compare damage for different ranks of spells.

Yes, Vanilla pservers had to make educated guesses to fill in missing data for some things, but they got many things right, and at present they are drastically more authentic than the classic demo was.

Wasn’t it stated that a good majority of “bugs” that were reported during the demo were things compared to how they are in pservers and stated that the pservers were in fact wrong?

I play on pservers but if you ask me they didn’t get it most of it right, they got most of it close, which means it’s all wrong.

I’m not trying to say that the demo got it 100% right either but it just needs a little more finesse and 0% comparison to pservers.

I want a beta to make sure there’s no bleed through of how they decided to roll out this whole thing like I dont zone into a scaled WC at 60, or to find that one pack of gnolls that spawn in with stats from live and not to complain that drop rates are off and should have 4 6slot bags be4 reaching Westfall.
