So people have been sleeping on Enh Shaman (I know we are hitting a dps wall in PVE) but mainly in PVP… It does take a bit of allignment and cooldown coordination. But with the right procs, DOOMWINDS******, Ascendance, and the Whopping’ Chain Harvest… It is not to be slept on!
Are you guys finding this also to be the case? How’s your Shaman PVP season going so far?

I like that with enhance strong heals they actually feel viable in bgs for what feels like the first time in forever. You can be cc and bursted down but healers seem to know this and whenever im locked down in randoms some rando healer always swoops in to save the day until i can recover and pop my burst. Deff feels good right now. I have been using etheral form on occasion now too to buy time, actually feels effective. We are 1 defensive ability while stunned away from being a truly all around jack of all trades spec.

Do people usually pop doomwinds and ascen atbthe same time? I usually feel like it is a waste.
It is a good combo as it’s just endless ranged storm strikes that are also doing loads of wind fury damage.
Maybe the higher PvP you do the worse it can be to use both, but in lower tier PvP I do you will catch people with their pants down in most matches and with insane burst potential. That’s part of the reason sun rogues got nerfed a bit I believe.
I have been using both since doom winds is a shortish 1 minute cd anyway, and the whole point of ascendance is to just do so much upfront burst that the enemy can’t deal with it or easily recover
Yea dw cd is just 1 minute but the extra 25% in ascendance form is a HUGE increase
Is the Doom Winds that good? I have the Wolf Bones and was considering making Doom Winds… wasn’t sure if it was that big of a difference
Doomwinds ends up being a huge portion of your damage.
