The min/maxers are probably more than aware of this already, but they’re significantly better than the ones you can get from the NPC and the quest that gives you the cloak. I didn’t bother comparing the two elsewhere before seeing them in-game, and I was surprised by how much better they were. From 1191 haste all the way up to 1701! I wasn’t expecting the increase to be that significant.

I think it’s funny that we add a piece of string to the cloak and it’s power level goes to 9000.

Yep, made by tailors! They’re pretty cheap too, especially for a one-time purchase (fibers can be unsocketed and go back into your inventory so you can swap them around if necessary for different specs).

You can get more fiber outside of the quest?
Do I have to be renown level 5 yo buy them or for the mats or ?
I just dont see the point of there being a crafted element to it. Most are already being exploited by devs and crafters over embellishments anyways so why do the crafters need more gold? O.o
To make them yourself yeah, renown 5 is needed to buy the recipes. But you can place work orders for them as well!

Are the crafted ones ethically sourced?
The tailors on Stormrage had them yesterday so I got mine already 
I got the mats from the AH cheap.
