Don't rush Classic phases

Where’s mana oil etc? Why is this stuff even delayed?

Melodramatic

The state of being exaggeratedly (theatrically) dramatic.

I’d hope by now Blizzard realizes the absolute worst outcome of delaying is that the 24/7 demographic will temporarily play others games or briefly suspend their subscription before jumping back in the instant new phases are released.

I’m okay with blizzard releasing content when they think we’re ready for it, and it’s clear they’re gearing up for P2 with the removal of layers on basically every server at this point. They stated that they wanted layers gone before P2 comes.

Acquiescing to a minority clamouring for it will not be good for the longevitiy of the game. The faster they drop the phases the faster Classic will become a ghost town.

How fast did the pServers die once they had all their content out?

They didn’t, they shut down due to cease and desist letters and then Classic coming out.

Okay? Blizzard doesn’t seem to be doing that.

Large chunks of the player base are 60 and ready for more content.

I mean they dropped Dire Maul early because of a minority of players crying about lack of content because they play 24/7.

Can we please have segregation of servers?

Those that want phase 3-4 can be on a server that is in that phase, those that are not ready for it can stay on 1-1.5 servers. Heck make it a premium service I will pay ~$20 a character to be on an oceanic phase 3 server.

Anyone that has even a shred of skill is facerolling the super nerfed unbalanced end of expansion tier 1 content.

You are not delivering on vanilla, classic is stale. At least give us a battleground.

Actually they dropped diremaul because they intended to have the entirity of phase 2 deployed but still have layering to work out.

Give the people what they want, just have batches of “slow progress” servers and a normal progressive server for those that actually do play a few hours a week and have exhausted the content.

Except they didn’t. Even a couple weeks ago there were a ton of people at 60.

Now maybe if they’d dropped DM or phase 2 the second week of classic you would have a point. But 6 weeks is more than enough time to hit 60 with moderate play time.

Once again the player base are acting like entitled brats, and are going to end up ruining the classic experience. I reallllly hate the people that play this game now, and allowed it to become (retail wise) the way it is.

They are gonna cry until we get naxx by December, then cry until we have BC in March.

Who are the entitled ones? The ones time gating content or the ones demanding it?

The game has a set schedule, and it needs to stick to how original Classic was.

It does not have a set schedule, only a phase plan.

I think battle grounds would be alright to implement. Atleast warsong gultch. I don’t want them to release phases too early, even if we do have a lot of 60’s. Make an alt.

Except that makes no sense as we aren’t getting progressive patches.

And we knew going in that blizzard would be releasing content as they saw fit based on player progression not on any fixed schedule.

A set schedule… with the 1.12 power patch from 2006 to run 2004 content.

If you don’t want to do the new stuff just don’t do it. Hey problem solved on your end without having to delay content for anyone else right.
