Can you please confirm if Twilight protocol dungeons are releasing on Tuesday 2/18 or a later date which would impact progression of Dragon Soul.
Since you’re adding Dragon Soul LFR gear, weapons and jewelry in addition to heroic Firelands gear like trinkets doesn’t this invalidate the replayability of Heroic Firelands? Please consider adding Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest at an extremely high cost that overmatches the 3-6 week timeline on the new vendor so casters have the ability to get their bis weapon.

For the same reason they made legendary staves have the same drop rate in normal as heroic - When everyone is special, no one is.
This is a re-run of an expansion that came out 15 years ago. The fact that anyone would care if things are accessible for an accelerated game mode is just weird behavior tbh
Going to put a big fat “X to doubt” on the legendary, not because I disagree, but because creating a way to complete the Essence step would take way more effort than they’d be willing to give.

If you are going to make updates to Cataclysm WoW. Why can’t you do simple updates such as having a lever mechanism for arenas so that they start faster. Seems like a quick win for the PvP community

What is the rationale behind allowing players to access infinite Dragon Soul LFR loot by farming Heroic Dungeons? LFR gearing was always inherently limited by the weekly raid lockout system which minimized its impact on regular progression. I really do not look forward to bypassing major progression challenges by walking into Dragon Soul for the first time with full tier gear (tank 4-piece tier is an enormous change by acquiring it through dungeons) and multiple powerful items (weapons, trinkets), that I acquire by farming trivial Heroic Dungeons. This is frankly a boring way to replace months of hard-earned Firelands Heroic gear and cheapens the experience of slowly gearing and overcoming raids through items the raid itself drops.
Strongly recommend that these dungeons and access to the LFR gear be delayed 1-2 weeks after the release of Dragon Soul or that tier is inaccessible outright.
Would love if we just got LFR at this point.

It really isn’t though. The point of working hard to down the content is sometimes having exclusive rewards. There is already another avenue of obtaining it, via the low drop chance in Normal Modes. Putting it in a vendor completely negates the work folks did or the luck they had to obtain something more exclusive than the general population in the game has. If they are gonna put this in as a purchasable item, might as well do it for all the 1% drop mounts from the dungeons.
Its also a source of income for guilds to sell it. It better cost like 5000 frags.
This expansion already came out. None of the rewards are “exclusive” when we’ve already “been there done that” back in 2010. Classic thrives on boomers trying to re-live their nostalgic glory days and zoomers who weren’t alive yet.
MoP will be out by the end of the year. Please enlighten me how someone else having a mount greatly diminishes your playing experience outside of bruising a superiority complex? I have the mount on retail and classic and could not give less of a sh*t if someone wants to buy it off the vendor. Who cares?
The fact that this expansion had been lived through once before doesn’t make items acquired in cata classic any less exclusive. Its an entirely different version of the game than retail and you must work to obtain those items you have in retail if you wish to enjoy them in classic. Your logic is flawed. This is Blizzard caving to all those who complain that they cannot complete the content at its toughest difficulty to obtain what they desire. Just because you don’t find value in it doesn’t mean everyone holds that same opinion.
If it weren’t meant to be exclusive, it wouldn’t have a 1% drop rate outside of heroic rag during the tier.
Re-reading the post, it appears to just be an error in the formatting of the post. It says there is a chance for the satchel to drop the alysrazor mount OR the rag mount; it reads

If a group were to go back and kill Heroic Rag wearing full H DS gear, would you also argue that they’re undeserving of having the mount? That they “Didn’t work as hard as you” because they didn’t get it during Phase 3?
Again, this is an ego problem on your end. You want the mount to remain a status symbol so when people see you on it you can feel better about yourself. I will be showing up to my guild’s raid and performing the same I would whether 10 people are riding it or 100 people. Let people enjoy things and stop being a weirdo over recycled content. This is a good change, maybe low drop rate but also include past mounts too?
Why? I already have them and it would incentive healers and tanks to queue up even when there geared to get rewards from the past.
I mean whats the difference people will end up coming back here in wod and soloing it for the mount each week
atleast this way people have incenstive to continue running it and others can gear alts.
